QUOTE(eksk86 @ Nov 21 2011, 11:12 AM) Can anyone provide me your real life example on the claims that changing MYR-> USD -> KRW is better than MYR -> KRW? yup pls enlight me...trip due in 2 days...Lets take current exchange rate as example. From xe.com, MYR1 is roughly = KRW359, USD1 is roughly = KRW1138, USD is roughly = MYR3.17 So, what you guys trying to say is that the losses from changing to USD and then to KRW is less than the losses we bear when changing from MYR to KRW directly? Thanks. |

QUOTE(stimix @ Nov 21 2011, 11:38 AM) Anyway my above calculation probably far xtreme, actual fact you only save ~ RM3o to RM50 for every RM1000. I fthat amt you willing to absorb it & dunwan to be so troublesome, just change to Korean won directly lor..but just be reminded..Market rate is at 2.77 as per Today and in M'sia money changer, you are getting 2.89 & probably 2.9+ by Today.. yup just checked with best rate...2.88...only wish i cn get info on the current rate between USD and WON at KEB...then work out the real savings |
