Hi all. biggrin.gif

I'm a STPM leaver and I'm quite interested in taking this course. However, what I've known regarding this course is very limited. First, I'm wanna ask do you guys know which private university is offering this course and it's good? And what about the job prospect in the future? I've done some digging, and looks like the course has a very bright future in the world's developed countries. But I'm not so sure its job prospect in Malaysia, biotech seems to be a very good example. Can anyone please enlighten me? Thanks. smile.gif

You are interested in this course but what you know about it is very limited?
You think is girl? By look then you can declare interest?

If you are genuinely interested, you would have looked up what is it all about, you would have looked up which IPTS offer this. What digging have you actually done?

Of course it's not girl. I've been watching Yale Open Course in this Biomedical Engineering. I know what's this course about. When I said what I know is very limited, I meant GOOD IPTS and JOB PROSPECT in Malaysia. My digging stated that Biomedical Engineer is one of the top ten most futuristic career in America. And I can't find the information about this Biomedical Engineering job's prospect in Malaysia. So, I thought asking in a forum where information flows freely might be a good idea, well, at least until I saw your reply. And which IPTS does say the course it offers is not good? That's why I'm requesting someone who're already working in the society in this field or students who are studying in this course to provide me some helpful information.

I don't get it. What I'm asking are views and opinions, not facts. So, everyone's might differ. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm just wanna gather some information in this forum. Thanks for the reply though. smile.gif

You should have a list of which IPTS actually offers that. I do not know much about it, but I do know UTAR has it, and UM of IPTA has it as well.
You may consider emailing them to learn about the employment upon graduation from them. Universities do that, feedback from their graduates about where they head to.

But then, IMHO, biomedical engineering doesn't boom yet in Malaysia, and it may be like the biotechnology - a lot of people end up in further studies. We don't make MRI, we don't build artificial heart, we don't produce equipment for physiological purposes as well.

I do know Help and UTAR have it as well. UM and UTM too. But it does looks like it's not so popular yet in Malaysia. Sigh. Very disappointed. sad.gif
I will try to email them to learn about the employment to find out more. Thanks for your feedback. smile.gif
