im a FX user , using D700 at the moment. landscape, portraits and street photography are what interests me. i like the 24-70 range but i do not have anything wider than the 24mm now. am thinking whether or not to sell the sigma 24-70 and my 80-200mm two touch and just get the 24-70 nikon lens.
*
how much u wanna sell ur 80200? tongue.gif

It might not be the lens. Probably the background hmm.gif
Not sure tho. I don't own any of it.
*
it is the lens. its produce harsh round bokeh if u shoot the leave only. it will be occur everytime i shoot almost same the picture condition. im thnking its because 50mm 1.8 bokeh quite harsh compare to 35mm. nothing cud complain i guess el cheapo lens mah

which model has ev meter on the top LCD on NIKON body?
Is there anyway to swap (function button) for ISO? Can't find the options.
Shooting manual + manual focus sometimes are pain in the ass with D90 compared to my D40 "fingers still not adapting well" or can I assign bracket to ISO instead?
*
yes u can swap the function button to ISO. just read the lousy manual to know how.

i thnk D90 quite easy compare to D40..

just hold 2nd lowest button on left of lcd, then jog the rear dial for ISO setting
hold 3rd lowest button for WB and etc. i can change ISO, WB, image quality without leaving my eyes from viewfinder

Which range is better for weddings,

16-85 + 35 + 80-200

or

11-16 + 35 + 80-200

hmm.gif
*
i choose 1st one if i were u.

1685 can cover most of the event so i thnks its quite good ed. all rounder.

80200 is useful for candid and outdoor. superb!

35? i dnt know or it just me that will leave 35mm and taking SP90. it done brilliant job for portraiture aka outdoor. shoot wide with 1685 is wide enuff for me.

2nd choice will make u loose all rounder lens. remimder that not all wedding held at big hall or big big house. imagine u shoot at flat / apartment. u want keep on changing 116 and 35? u will lose ur time smile.gif

Sharper iinm, and you wouldn't want a 11-16 for group photo as well, the corners are too distorted icon_question.gif
What is nice about 11-16 is f/2.8 nia.

QUOTE(FaezFarhan @ Mar 18 2011, 04:54 AM)
I see, thanks for the reply bro. I have two questions, how's the sharpness of the 16-85 compared to the tokina 11-16? And is 16mm on DX wide enough for most weddings? hmm.gif
*
what edwardgsk said is true. 116 quite ugly taking portrait, group photo or anything human related unless u really want to play real wide.

i never tried 1685 b4 but i used to shoot wedding using 18105 for a years before i swift to 1750. now i normally using single 1750 to shot whole coverage. im not creative as some of here so i dont use wide much.

btw, wedding normally they dont want too sharp picture coz later all jerawat everything will be see. depend on ur luck lor regarding client. i was rejected several time coz of nikon. even got 1 client provide me other camera to shoot their wedding. then u know why i know much about canon and sony right? tongue.gif

i use 116 more when i wanna shoot like this style
user posted image

but u know now i am almost full time 1750 user so if u think its not wide enuff, imagine how big a jetty wud be?
