I use 70200 for portrait. Used to own 85/1.8 (2 of it) but sold off due to lousiness of the lens.

Yes. 50mm quite tight. 35 is good. Get the 1.4G if you can afford. It's superb !
*
KTCY ,what do you think about 35mm when it compared to 24mm. 24mm > 35mm in term of sharpness right?

I want to ask is the purpose, i think 24mm can do all what 35mm do right ? Sorry i really donnoe why some people own 2 of this lens , it is just 9mm differences so i hope you can teach me =)

I prefer 24mm as it is wider and can include more people

d 9mm difference is not about range difference only
both lenses give different perspective of a photo

It probably depends on your requirements  wink.gif If you can accept it then its ok I guess. Not everyone have the same level of tolerance.
*
Ya you are right , it is not necessary must be sharp for me. I means on eyes.

don't forget the field of view

On an FX-format camera,

16mm => 107 degrees
24mm => 84.1 degrees
35mm => 63.4 degrees

Same thing here. I cannot get sharp image maybe due to my lens or my skills i dont know.

I use center focus , likely f4 to shoot , but i cannot get sharp images

p/s: shutter speed 1/80-1/250.

I search alot of information in webs, the answer given to me is increase to shutter speed, and narrow the aperture.

But i still cannot get sharp image, i wonder kit lens cannot make sharp image izzit? Please teach me thanks guy =)

No problem with my lightning

I wish to get sharp image with my 18-55mm , but i still dont know how.

But some people managed to get sharp image by using kit-lens

Eg:http://www.flickr.com/photos/pva1964/3882402473/
