Hello all

If someone may have answered this before, can you please point me to the right thread, Thanks.

I have Unifi installed downstairs and everything is running fine, downstairs.

I want to install the IPTV upstairs and I have Aztech Homeplugs around the house (HL110EP). The router (Unifi's) is downstairs and I can get internet connectivity with the Homeplug upstairs but am unable to set up the IPTV when I move the STB upstairs (same socket).

Is there a way around this?

TIA.

you must use port 4... of the dlink and hookit up to the homeplug..

any other port it won't work cause port 4 is the iptv port..

If you use port 4 then you can't use the internet.

Except if you using VLAN capable switch and use homeplug as trunk.

Thanks for the info Aneip. Haven't tried it yet, but can you tell me more about the VLAN capable switch?

Regards

Added on March 11, 2011, 10:45 pmHi again.

By plugging the IPTV from port 4 into the homeplug, I can get iptv upstairs but no internet except for wireless.

Would it help if I purchased the HL280E homeplug with 2 ethernet adapters and use that as the main plug by the router, i.e. Ports 4 and 3 plugged into it and the other parts of the house just use HL110EW for either IPTV or Internet?

TIA.
