Haram Zada/Jada is a Hindi phrase that means bastard: Har ram jada = har means Shiva, Ram is Ram and jada means son, this means son of Shiva and Rama, or in other words the person whose father's name is not known are Har and Ram' son. same way Ram jada means son of Ram, again whos father's name not known. It eventually became used as a curse word meaning bastard. Orang Melayu absorb into the Malay language become haram jadah. For those who don't know most of the original Malay language words are from Tamil/Hindi/Sanskrit. Later more Arabic words were added and now its basically Englishifying i.e. ofis, rekomen, etc. luigee liked this post
