I can recommend you getting the Roomba 530 brand new or remanufactured set Roomba 530 cheap and value.

It is very simple just one press to clean bottom that's all roomba can be do his own works, until battery weak and return to home base for charging.

Roomba just for vacuum cleaning.
If you need wash and mop function, you can go for Scooba 230 or 380.

I see, maybe you can consider to Scooba 230.
It is very usefull and mini size can go in every corner edge to mop for you.

Yap irobot won't allow to 2-in-1 combine after the result no good.
Becuase it is not in focus either one function in used.

Maybe I can look out 2nd hand Scooba for you.
BTW I have to check 1st.

For my experience I still prefer you buy Roomba 1st Becuase it is can help to vacuum up all those dust and hair.

For your house is single storey better get roomba 1st.
Rooomba can be vacuum up 90% of your floor dust or hair, and you won't feel your floor very dirty or sticky on your foot.

If your home every days got people around, I will prefer you get the Roomba 530 is it basic model without time schedule 7-days.

7- days time schedule can be set in when you not around or going out for your Roomba still can wakeup and do works for you.
From mon-sun you can set either one day at one works hour or set in 7-days to works up for you.

For common area you may take care of roomba where is he going to or run over the grass area.
For drain building side drain it is drop off, because it has sensor to detect and won't be drop.
Got one thing if common area too dirty you may hardworking to do cleaning out vacuum bin by frequently.

Hi, yuenong

For Roomba 530 is the basic vacuum robot without times schedule for 7-days schedule, if you set in from mon-sun in single time can be wake up to doing vacuum for you.

For Roomba 550 is for own pets at home only the difference is vacuum bin. It is using AeroVac bin technology to pull out the pets hairs from the floor and can allow the store manys hairs and dust without frequently to clean up the bin.
Cause pets hairs is drop as manys at the every corner.

For Roomba 560 is using normal vacuum bin the feature is same as Roomba 530, just only added time schedule.
For schedule is best for those people not at home or working.

If you don't let roomba to across that area you can used the Virtual Wall to blocked that area for roomba will be do not across.

Don't worry for carpets roomba do not damaged or cut through because it is very common in US home, for the design is suite to hard floor and carpets, even you google or YouTube video all those people home in US is using carpets floors.

For Roomba is really usefull and helpful, almost vacuum up at 90% and above you can't imaging the small roomba can be works better than tranditional vacuum. One you vacuum almost time you had feel tired and feels very hot, cause the heat will come from rear of vacuum cleaning.
For roomba you press the button that all.
Or set in schudule after you when back home for your cleaning works is completed.

So they prefer on Roomba 560 with schedule all time days and time has been in set.
At everyday roomba will be doing floor cleaning works itself, after completed wait for his husband back to clean out the vacuum bin, that all, for them now is feel more comfortable and life of easy.

Brand new, box is difference Packaged is diff. When you take out and see the quality is brand new.

For refurnish you can see got minor scratch on body and faceplate cover color is diff, will be more plastic color.
