Don't think I've ever seen Docky running in KDE before (your previous scrot not withstanding) ... most peple I know usually run Daisy or something, though I suppose Docky would work wellenough on any environment with some form of compositing enabled.

If there's anything I had a problem to run on KDE, it'll be Conky (previously. Not anymore as evident in my scrot), until I changed it to just "override."

Well, KWin provides compositing by itself, so no problem there. Actually... I even had it running on my Openbox setup since I set Xcompmgr to start (with parameters copied off from somewhere) on login.

Actually, I'm pretty torn between these three setups I have.

KDE: Transparent setup (but not on GTK apps)! I just got to love that feel.

GNOME: My current screenshot there is outdated, now I run the global menubar in GNOME classic with the Panflute applet moved towards the center, replacing the window list. That and I pretty much am in love with how my panel looks like right now... which in turn makes me know how GNOME2 users feel with the shift to GNOME 3. Someone's just got to make a fork of that GNOME panel and its applets!

Unity: Since I don't really tweak much, Unity by itself is fine by me. Actually, I can't imagine Unity having its launchers at the bottom/top of all places, and the panel being somewhere else other than the top. Guess it's the cup of tea for me

Lightweight + Cool looking Elementary OS

cocooh, are you running ubuntu?

Basically , using Linux Mint but converted it to Elementary OS

Linux Mint and Elementary is based on Ubuntu FYI
