Yes, 1.2 is FINALLY AVAILABLE in Malaysia, I'm upgrading atm as well! Sweeeet!

Btw, my 1st post in this thread, been diving for too long, LOL!

I'm loving the new 1.2 firmware so far, although the improvements/changes are subtle, but I'm enjoying every bit of it.

Bring on Bada 2.0! (maybe another year of waiting...)

Ever since I had my Wave updated to 1.2 firmware through Kies, I've been experiencing random hang and restarts, which is very annoying, all is barely acceptable until few days back that my Wave started looping on the Samsung welcome screen, it simply won't boot into the Bada OS! Hence my Wave is useless atm...

Currently doing heavy study online about manual flashing.... sigh... this is bloody frustrating...

Wondered anyone faced similar problems with their 1.2 wave?

So there's no authorized service center in my little town, I brought it to a small phone repair shop and it's been left there untouched for a week, I decided to bring it back and fix it myself... went online and studied the flashing thing and attempted it on my Wave, got it going on my 1st try, Wave is finally back and alive, I'm happy, but too bad my data's all gone, will be synching with my PC more often now though.

Is this because of 1.2 firmware? I read couple of posts here and it seems this 1.2 firmware is pretty buggy, what's up Samsung!?

Upgraded to 2.0 as well through Kies last night.

Felt like using a new phone all over again.

Aside from the excitement, found a few things that were quite a let down.

1. Built in image editor is no more.
2. No built in Twitter and FB apps.
3. Where's the live wallpapers?
4. No more left/right swipe contact to call and sms, now you can still swipe, but then it presents you with the call/sms etc buttons and you have to touch it again, meh...
5. I tried to shut off all the background running services, especially those that will 'secretly' synchro, but still, the battery life under performs compared to 1.2, this is a big disappointment.

Things I like about the new 2.0:
1. Finally, folder organization!
2. Shortcut apps to main screen

That's about for now, need to spend more time with it, also need to re-download all my apps as they're all gone after the update. :\

Is it something like connection error issue?

If so, go to your connection settings, make sure you assign the connection profile to your 'samsungapp', then it should fix your problem.
