Dear Parents,

I have a 4 year old child which starts school this year and i sent her to UCMas in Sri rampai. relatively my kid enjoy going to school and all the activities there. but the issue that i am really concern on the school is:

1. the teacher are not taking care of my child hygiene. my child comes home everyday with dirty hand and leg, her hair are not properly tie up, stain on her mouth !!!! i am truly disappointed with this. cos i think hygiene is very important for children.

2. the school wants my child to wear slipper to school (they have an outdoor park) because they dont want to bother to help the child to put on their shoe when they go outdoor. this result in my child going barefoot when she go outside to play and cause her feet to be super dirty. they also didnt bother to wash her feet after outdoor.

3. my child only drink less than 1/4 of her water judging from the remaining water in her bottle.

i am very confuse now on should i change her school now.... cos
1. i am worry she might not be able to enjoy other school cos so far she really love to go to this school.
2. i need to pay all the fees over again in the new kindie as i have already paid rm1500 to enroll in this school.

Really hope someone can share their view on this.

btw, i have talk to the principal regarding the matter above and she promise me she will rectify, but so far i dont see any improvement.

Please help !!!

this issue is more like the people running the school...namely the principle and the teachers.

It shows they lack the care on teaching the child with proper manners. They thought their concentration should be only on academic studies which is totally wrong when running a kindergarden. It also shows they are short staffed. Most kindergardens hire maids to help look after the kids which is what they need to do.

However, I wouldn't waste time advising the principal what to do because he/she already have the wrong idea on running a kindergarden.

I would sent my kid to another school immediately. Cleanliness is really very important issue. You cannot imagine how many times my kids got sick from kindergarden. The principal AND the teacher both lack concern of being a good teacher on life.

Forget about the school fees and all. It's secondary to your child's health. You wouldn't want your child to grow up next time who doesn't care about her cleanliness? It's easier to teach a kid about those good values when they are young.
