Is it a must to use the round fan in the middle? does it comes in other colour like, errr, transparent black? I dont mind bout that square outside fan coz can always be changed, but tat mid round fan is quite disturbing my mind....

I did this monster review when it was prototype, performance was great but it has difficulties in matching casing, not every casing can fit this in.
Anyway, due to copyright, I cannot share the review out here, but I rated it 8.5/10 *** I did it when it was prototype and it was last year December So, since this is end product already, I guess it should perform better This post has been edited by AceCombat: Mar 24 2011, 09:54 AM |

no worry, the mounting is extreme well and distribute the load evenly
Just manage to installed the NH-D14, the temp is really got compare to my HR-2 and Coolit, 3.6ghz on Q6600 never exceed 65 deg C, seems extremely effective indeed. But seriously it is covering the ram slot, need to be careful on ram selection i'll try dig out my old record and see how well it does with some data, hopefully i can find it. |

Wonder why Noctua design this beast soooo big and bulky with two massive heatsink like "Petronas Twin Tower" but still getting beat by other smaller size cooler like the Spire & Tuniq
They put so much "steel" on it yet getting beat in term of price/performance. Plus installation is not easy & the weight is "damaging" to your mobo Source: http://www.frostytech.com/top5heatsinks.cfm |

lingloong, i already installed it, but haven't took pictures only haha...
and i'm at outstation at the moment, so no chance touching it yet; but for maximus formula, definitely no problem. not touching anything, NH-D14 works well with low air flow environment, that why it is so big; the fins are space widely to utilize air flow efficiently as possible |

Some ppl see noctua fan as ugly, it is actually not bad for the brown creamy colour. I am admiring the silence fan without sacrificing the cooling performance. I am fold my CPU for the few hours pushing to the limit all the cores and threads and my temperature now hardly exceeding 60° compared to the previous stock cooler at 70°C++

In my opinion, Noctua coolers are like the best possible replacements if the user does not want to go for water-cooling.

QUOTE(AceCombat @ Mar 24 2011, 09:52 AM) I did this monster review when it was prototype, performance was great but it has difficulties in matching casing, not every casing can fit this in. LOL.Anyway, due to copyright, I cannot share the review out here, but I rated it 8.5/10 *** I did it when it was prototype and it was last year December So, since this is end product already, I guess it should perform better |

In the same boat.
DH14- As technoG said in his review, case clearance might be an issue. So do some measurement. Installation is not hard at all. Anyway, somehow when using Y-Splitter that come with the box, one of the fan stop spinning. So I discard it and use separately. |

i need suggestion from y'all here.before this,i've tried cleaning my NH-D14 with detergent soap and bucket full of cold water because i wanted to get rid of the crust/staining around the edges of the fins.
i did not dare scrubbing it with any brush because it is thinly nickel coated, scared will lose the coating. any suggestion on how to get rid of this 'baked' like dust stains on the fins without damaging it? |

The NH-D15 might seem expensive, but for LGA2011 owners especially, it performs as well as all the top-end all-in-one liquid coolers out there so in cooling terms it justifies its price. Even on LGA1155, which is easier to tame, it's still extremely potent, matching the 4th best result on test. Perhaps the biggest plus point for those looking to get rid of a small, whiny cooler in time for warmer summer months, the NH-D15 is also very quiet, especially so when used with the included low noise adaptors.

Changed my stock cooler (i5-3570K) to Noctua NH-U14S, my idle temp (no-OC) is 40 degree, is that okay guys? Or should it be lower?

I'm getting an NH-D14. The spec sheet says that my case has a maximum cpu cooler height of 163mm, while the specs from the Noctua page says it's maxiumum height with fans installed is 160mm. It should fit right?

got myself D15 after reading lots of review....totally no regret....what a beast.... the only small negative point is due to the big size...it will block most of the view of my motherboard... haha... but performance wise, it is really silent and does the job very well....

The NH-D15S is a very simple and obvious change to the NH-D15 to meet specific uses, and Noctua pulls it off in exactly the flawless fashion we have come to expect from them. While the NH-D15S is still a very large air cooler, it clears all RAM slots and the first PCIe slot on almost every ITX board giving enthusiasts the option to use a truly top tier air cooler without sacrificing anything in compatibility.

Noctua has always been a leader on the market of fans and cooling solutions that have been designed to near perfection. A lot of research and development is intelligently invested into what is know to be the pinnacle of quality control. Lots of exiting new products from Noctua, several prototypes and intriguing project can be seen below. Take a look through the gallery and enjoy.

Out of these four coolers, Noctua’s NH-U14S stands out by pretty much every metric. It is a little larger than the other three coolers and, even though the difference is small, extra caution is required when checking whether it can fit inside a case. At $65 it's also more expensive than the other three models by around 30% ($15), which makes it substantially more expensive. Nevertheless, the thermal performance of the NH-U14S is significantly superior as well, especially when the cooler needs to handle a high thermal load. This higher thermal performance coupled with Noctua's excellent reputation for their after-sales support gives the NH-U14S an edge over its competition, regardless of its higher retail price.

The Noctua NT-H1 thermal compound was a pleasure to work with. It was easy to apply and the performance was great right from the start. No burn-in time was needed with the NT-H1, unlike Arctic Silver products. The storage and usage time look great, but since this is a new product, there has not been enough time to verify the manufacturer's claims. The NT-H1 has an MSRP about the same as what other companies' products are listed at, and they will provide about the same number of applications per syringe. Right now I have found one store in the US (moddersmart.com) that is selling the NT-H1, but it is listed at $8.99. Hopefully as it becomes more available, the price will fall to closer to what Arctic Silver 5 sells for.

These fans took a long time to get right. Noctua should be praised for holding them back until they were this good. These are strongly built fans. Just holding them is a pleasure. In the photographs you can see the struts, but in person the broad blades seem to take up the whole disk. The fans come with a lot of accessories, including enough that you can choose how to fasten your fan. And the many screw-holes will let this fan to go into a large number of settings.

Testing out these new fans from Noctua makes me realize just how much I like the innovative designs of their products. They do not simple take the ideas from others and make small improvements. They throw the book away and start from scratch. The Noctua Noctua NF-A12x15 may only be a fan, but I have never seen a fan where so much attention to detail has been made to every aspect of its design – airflow, noise, power consumption, aesthetics, accessories, durability and quality. With their static pressure are ideal fans for any CPU heatsink, radiator or all in one loop. In terms of noise our results spoke for themselves, they were absolutely outstanding and this is where the Noctua NF-A12x15 really shines the most.

Noctua NF-S12A series is ideal for case fans, you can apply multiple fans on the front, top or on the back of a case. As we had said already having a decent CPU cooler matters a lot to get maximum from the case fans. For Air Coolers on CPU, these fans help a lot to draw out heat and push more and more cooler air. This maintains a decent CPU temperature on long run. In our test machine when playing games on max system the temperature was crossing 60degree just like that, after adding the fans the temperature gain was down to 40%. On other side, when we applied a liquid cooler there was huge drop in rising temperature speed. Through our test we can conclude these fans are really designed for sheer performance. They are quiet silent on high rpm and durable.

The Noctua NH-D15 is certainly one of the best air coolers on the market today, while defeating some of the AiO liquid coolers too. However, there is a price to pay. Firstly, the form factor. Secondly, compatibility. Make sure you check everything before picking one up for yourself.

While performance isn't thrown to the wayside, in fact the NH-D15S does really well for a single fan cooler dual tower, and the lack of noise while doing so is also greatly appreciated, but this is one of those coolers that you can't really appreciate until you actually have issues and are looking for a cooler with these features. When you do have said issues though, knowing Noctua has your back and is obviously always looking to offer their customers the best of all worlds, it is then that you will fully appreciate all that the NH-D15S is.

The Noctua NH-D14 CPU Cooler is still one of the best CPU coolers ever released. It has a copper baseplate, copper heatpipes, many aluminum fins and two fans, looks amazing, very well constructed and comes with a 6 year warranty. This is one incredible CPU cooler

Building from what was the world's first of its kind, surpassing all of the mimics on the market, and doing it with much needed improvements in clearance and performance, is yet another reason why we always recommend Noctua coolers. It's also why most of the staff here currently have them or have had them in the past. They are just that good, and the NH-D15 proves that Noctua is still on top of the game, even if they have been pretty quiet lately!

The Noctua NH-L12 is a great product that many will overlook or misunderstand. While its performance does not lead the pack, it does offer a small size and versatility. It is the smallest cooler I have reviewed thus far in terms of height and weight and offers backplate-less mounting for mini-ITX systems.

“Noctua has once again proved that you really do get what you pay for. The Noctua NH-D15S may be priced in line with many large water coolers, but it can still keep up with them in terms of performance and it outperforms almost everything on the market in terms of acoustics and compatibility. One of the best coolers money can buy.”

Noctua has devoted itself to quiet cooling. In that they have succeeded well. One measure of their insistence on quietness was their not bringing PWM products to market until they were ready to do it the Noctua way.

Chad says that "bigger is not always better", and that proves to be the case with Noctua's NH-U9S CPU air cooler. Let's take a close look.

Hi guys, today I take a look at a mini CPU Cooler, the Noctua NH-U9S. This cooler is a perfect candidate for Mini-ITX systems and offers some fantastic performance for its short size of 12.5cm, beating out the popular Hyper 212 EVO in terms of performance.

What is there that I can't say that leaves this larger member of the NH-U series of coolers painted in a positive light? Well, to be honest, there isn't anything I can rightly complain about. When you have a cooler that is taking what other manufacturers have tried and failed, leaving them to resort to using a dual tower or a super thick single tower, and still some cannot compete at this level. Noctua has proven to me, once again, why I hold them in such high regard. They took the basic idea everyone has used for years, and with a few tweaks to the fin designs, figuring out the best method of heat pipe dispersal, and equipping the cooler with a 150mm fan that just kicks ass doesn't hurt things one bit either.

These are definitely not the cheapest fans on the market and we wouldn’t want them to be. When you make cheaper more budget stuff, something has to get cut somewhere and it is normally the quality of the product. Noctua products offer good value for the money through their amazing performance, which again, is backed by a 6-year warranty. Value is very subjective as I always say, but as long as you don’t take it to mean budget than the Noctua Redux fans offer great value, plain and simple.

If you are in the market for some new thermal compound, I suggest checking some Noctua Nt-H1 thermal interface material out for yourselves. https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Noctua/NT-H1 Attached thumbnail(s) |

Overall, the price of the NH-U9S might be a little bit steep for some people but it's worth every penny considering that this is a very well engineered cooler. It comes packed with a whisper quiet fan and Noctua's SecuFirm2 mounting kit makes the installation process very easy and straightforward. Noctua has also included in the package their NT-H1 thermal compound that is top notch. We strongly recommend the NH-U9S to anyone who's looking for a high quality cooler for a mini-ITX build. It will give you fantastic cooling performance while providing high RAM and video card clearance. The NH-U9S is another high quality product from Noctua that performs just as you would expect.
With all that being said, we are proud to give the Noctua NH-U9S our Gold Award. http://www.relaxedtech.com/reviews/noctua/nh-u9s/1 Attached thumbnail(s) |

Both coolers perform excellent within their respective range. The 95mm based NH-D9L simply is a good product (within its segment). Combined with overclocking it'll run out of juice fast though. But overall definitely recommended. The winner from the two has to be the NH-U9S though, it packs a little extra bite and allows our 4790K processor to run at 1.3 Volts / 4600 MHz. Granted the temps are borderline, but for its form factor, I seriously like it. As shown, we also tried a dual-fan config on the NH-U9S and that really makes it an awesome cooler. Keep in mind though that in a lot of mITX configurations, the second fan would likely not fit as depending on the arrangement it would block a DIMM or PCIE slot. So our advice is to focus on the single fan perf primarily. For those that have the space, awesome perf is what we see.

The Noctua NH-U9S is an easy recommendation from me despite its high price. Its tiny form factor is obviously meant for those who either seek a clean aesthetic with a square cooler while easy accessibility to other parts of the motherboard (I’m one of them), or for mini-ITX builds with low temperatures.

It should be clear by now that when it comes to functional design even a seemingly small change can have major effects in performance. I am not talking about a butterfly effect here but in a more practical local way. The NH-U9S is a perfect example of this, but this did not come as too much of a surprise considering how largely improved the NH-U12S and NH-U14S’ performances were compared to their previous generation counterpart. The NH-U9S takes the 92mm level of thermal performance beyond even further than the NH-U9B SE2 despite being bundled with only a single fan.

Overclocking AMD Ryzen Threadripper and testing Noctua's TR4 coldplates vs an Asetek round all in one water coolers. It seems the square cold plate is essential to cooling threadripper properly, especially while overclocking.

As much as these two fans may look like a standard PC fan, they are industrial fans, so it is a bit hard to compare them to a typical PC fan. Will they work in your home PC? Sure - they will work just fine, but you will never get them to run at their maximum rated speeds on the 12V from the PSU in your home system. You need 24V to get the maximum speeds and that of course requires a dedicated external 24V power source. Who would go to that much trouble and expense when Noctua has a full line of case and cooler fans that are just perfect for your PC?
These industrialPPC fans are intended for use in an industrial environment where 24V is typically available. Moisture and dirt are often encountered in an industrial environment and that is exactly where these fans are best used. The IP67 rating ensures that the internal components are protected and these fans are up to the task of reliably moving air in an industrial application. The AEC-Q100 qualification ensures that these fans meet the failure-mechanism-based stress tests for integrated circuits. http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/noctua_ppc_fans/ Attached thumbnail(s) |

As always, Noctua has not failed to impress us with build quality and performance. With these two coolers, they have continued to set the benchmark for a ‘premium’ small form factor CPU cooling solution. Apart from the “love it or hate it” fan colour scheme, the aesthetics are what we have come to expect from the brand, with simple, clean lines and no “fluff” or extraneous features.

Noctua has again made its mark on the computer after-market peripheral upgrades. Although the NH-L9a-AM4 L-Type low-profile cooler is specific to the new AMD Ryzen socket, the NH-L12S contains the mounting hardware for all of the current Intel and AMD socket types; plus Noctua offers a free upgrade for future socket designs. Noctua only requires a proof of purchase (photo, scan or screenshot of the invoice) of both a Noctua CPU cooler and hardware components corresponding to the specific kit when requesting a mounting kit upgrade.

If you can afford the premium price that comes attached with Noctua products, and you don’t mind their browny-beige color scheme, then they are absolutely one of the best fan makers in the world. I honestly forgot how quiet and premium their fans were until I got my hands on the care package that they sent over. I thought my EK Vardar fans were good, which they are, but Noctua is on another level with their fans. It’s only right that I award them with the appropriate award… which without saying is:

Maximising colour choices, Noctua’s chromax line gives users the option to colour-customise their fans and CPU coolers in order to create PC builds with specific, focused aesthetics: http://noctua.at/chromax The chromax line ranges from chromax editions of the signature NF-A15, NF-A14, NF-F12 and NF-S12A fans over add-on heatsink covers for popular coolers such as the NH-D15(S) and NH-U12S to coloured cables, anti-vibration pads and anti-vibration mounts. Enabling users to colour-coordinate their cooling solutions with other components and popular build themes such as all black, black & white or black & red, Noctua’s chromax line is the perfect choice for all those who value clean, neat looks just as much as class-leading quality and performance.

Thinking about doing air cooling? You have a lot of options but the one that almost always ends up at the top of the list is the Noctua NH-D14. Due to its popularity, Noctua has updated the D14 with the NH-D15. Some small design changes have been made to help make this cooler a little more user friendly when installing in systems without low-profile memory. I take a look at what comes in the box and check clearances using an ATX and mATX motherboard

The Noctua NH-D15S is a fantastic CPU cooler that improves on the already outstanding NH-D15. Overall, it usually stays within 1-2 °C of its sibling. With such fantastic performance on mainstream processors, the loss of a second fan does little to dampen its performance. It also doesn't hurt that noise levels are just as expected in that it's nearly silent. At 64 mm under the fins, memory clearance is good, and with the new asymmetrical design, expansion-slot clearance is greatly improved as well. Much like all Noctua coolers, the NH-D15S is easy to install thanks to the SecuFirm 2 mounting hardware, and let's face it, that paired with its exceptional build quality make this cooler a bit of a treat to work with. The fact that it's well packaged and has a nice accessories bundle is just icing on the cake. Oh and who can say no to an industry leading no fuss six year warranty?

I know you can find plenty of $5 or $10 fans on the market and yes they may even be a better fit for the theme of your case, but you are going to be hard pressed to get a fan that delivers what Noctua is offering in that price range, or in most others for that matter. I know it is a tough pill to swallow for some with the choice of colors Noctua uses and the fact that the NF-F12 PWM fans do require near $20 to obtain one of them. Even with that in mind, I say that everyone should own at least one Noctua fan in their lifetime and get a personal sense of what they offer you.

The Noctua NH-D15 is certainly one of the best air coolers on the market today, while defeating some of the AiO liquid coolers too. However, there is a price to pay. Firstly, the form factor. Secondly, compatibility. Make sure you check everything before picking one up for yourself.

The NA-SAV2 and NA-SAVP1 pads are stylish and very easy to use. If you are into modding and want to use Noctua's fans in your computer but you hate Noctua's traditional color scheme, then consider buying the NA-SAVP1 corner pads. I will say that this is a step in the right direction for Noctua because people like different color schemes and it's good to have variations of colors to choose from.

The Noctua NH-U14S is backed by a 6-year warranty and priced at RM 339 on Lazada. Base on its overall performance and factor, include the warranty policy, I award Noctua NH-U14S with Silver Pokdeward.
The Noctua NF-A15 PWM fan is priced at RM105 on Lazada, as we know the fan is one of the best cooling fans in the market with extremely quiet operation, even at full tilt. Adding the second fan’s price into the equation, the Noctua NH-U14S will actually cost more than the Noctua NH-D15, while delivering less performance. Of course, there is the RAM clearance issue when considering the NH-D15, where the Noctua NH-U14S has none to speak of. https://pokde.net/tech/noctua-nh-u14s-singl...-cooler-review/ Attached thumbnail(s) |

Noctua has actually managed to pack all top air cooler traits into a configuration that allows for the use of taller RAM in all slots of current Intel boards without detracting from performance. Both coolers use Noctua's latest fan designs which boast high air movement and static pressure with very limited noise, as well as PWM control. Both the 140mm of the NH-U14S and 120mm of the NH-U12S top out at 1500rpm at only 19.2 and 18.6 dBA respectively. The same SecuFirm 2 mounting kit is used on both, offering top quality components with easy and solid installation. All necessary hardware is included to add second fans for push/pull operation, as is a tube of top quality NT-H1 thermal interface material.

The Noctua NH-L12S and Reeven Brontes are both low profile coolers that are relatively new to the market. Let's how cool they can keep an overclocked 8600K at 4.8 GHz when compared to larger coolers.

Noctua has always been at the top of the game because of good performance and quality fans. In fact, the NH-D9L has managed to match the U9S benchmark temperatures in a even smaller form factor. That alone is an achievement in itself. Noctua has always been a company with high quality
standards, and while missing the market with two fans, it makes up for it in space savings. http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/no...d9l_cpu_cooler/ Attached thumbnail(s) |

The NH-C14S cooler combines both performance and PC case compatibility into one single package. Along with Noctua's notable 6-year warranty and amazing build quality, you should be satisfied if you choose it to cool your precious CPU.

AIO water cooling is considered the best for cooling efficiency short of a custom loop, but is it really? Or can air cooling give it a run for its money?

Regarding the new Chromax series I can easily say that the top notch quality is here, guaranteed by 6 years warranty, combined with great appearance and tons of possibilities. I am pretty sure the new visual options will definitely attract more attention to the products and most of all will definitely lure curious eyes to peek inside every modern case or modding project.

Four and a half years of investment into research and development, for any product, would almost certainly yield impressive results, but when all of that effort is focussed onto one fan, available in one colour and one size, the results are amazing.
Our testing showed this fan blows everything else out of the water, including the Corsair ML-120, a fan known for its excellent performance. The construction of the fan is “no compromise” in every single way, going to unbelievable lengths to ensure optimal performance and minimal noise in the process. The fan is easily the heaviest we’ve encountered, tipping the scales at a mighty 201g. A Corsair ML Series 120mm fan, for example, weighs 148g. Noctua believe in their product so much, they tag it with a 6-year warranty; not shabby at all! To round up, if you’re after the best performance or silent operation, this is the only fan we can recommend, full stop. Yeah, it’s pricey at £26, but that is absolutely warranted in our opinion. https://www.vortez.net/articles_pages/noctu...n_review,1.html Attached thumbnail(s) |

Beware, these are not necessarily cheap but are also not that expensive if you compare them to other high end fans. The price might be a little bit steep but in my opinion they are worth every penny because you are getting a high quality product that performs just as you would expect and on top of that, you have a 6 year warranty. You know you are getting a high quality product when it has the Noctua name on the package. We strongly recommend the Noctua NF-A14 industrialPPC fans to anyone who's looking for the best of the best. Noctua continues to release high quality products so with all that being said, we are proud to give both the NF-A14 iPPC-3000 and 2000RPM PWM fans our Gold Award.

Noctua's NH-C14S is better in every way to the original! It is more efficient, noise is of little concern, and the changes made by solidifying the design and reworking the fins makes for a much better cooler. We just wish pricing was closer to the MSRP, as at $99.95, the asking price is too high.

If you are looking for a smaller air cooler for a compact system this cooler is a great choice! Now the cooler is a little hard to find, but we were able to find it online for around $55. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Noctua NH-U9S CPU Cooler a 10 out of 10 score and our Recommended Award!

The Noctua NF-A14 ULN is a very nice fan for the “quiet enthusiast”. As we’ve seen it runs at more or less in total silence, whether you pick 800 or 650 RPMs. Personally I think the difference between 650 and 800 ROM was so minor that you might as well opt for 800 RPM speeds to get that extra airflow.

Yet another Noctua product review, and we’re just as impressed today as we were way back, when we looked at our first Noctua product. That seems a trivial thing to mention right? We’ll I can’t say that for many other brands, we’ve seen almost the entire Noctua range and we’ve never found any major concerns, issues or problems. That’s a big deal, Noctua have a proven track record of consistently delivering brilliant products.

The NH-U14S from Noctua is an amazing cooler. Its performance has it take on some of the best-performing air coolers in the industry. Let us start with noise levels, or should I say lack thereof? This cooler is quiet, topping out at 42 dBA in its default, single-fan configuration to place second on our sound-level charts when at full fan speed.

Noctua has done it again, both the NF-F12 PWM and the NF-P12 PWM are great fans that will help keep your system temps down. the NF-F12 PWN seams to be a bitt better on a CPU cooler that the NF-P12 but no matter what fan you get you will se excellent results.
If you plan to get a new fan for your CPU I recommend the NF-F12 PWM since it has a higher RPM and a bit better cooling performance when used on a CPU cooler. All in all these two fans are amazing and I recommend them both for anyone no matter what you do with your PC, for ME who wants my Studio PC to be quiet the NF-F12 PWM is a winner https://dawfreak.wordpress.com/2012/03/10/n...p12-pwm-review/ Attached thumbnail(s) |

All in all, these products are well built, well designed, and are able to achieve specs that by-and-large merit the premium price asked of them. None of the tested fans exhibited loud operation, and the included accessories ensured that the fans can be used in many different systems.

The NH-U14S is the heatsink featured in this review, and it did surprisingly well. One would expect that it would not be able to keep up: not only cooling less well than the D15 but falling behind the DF14, the Megahalems and the Genesis as well. Instead, this little one tower heatsink surpassed all our expectations and beat out three top heatsinks, with the stock U14S only falling behind the stock D15 by 2.1 °C (59.3 vs 61.4). If we look at the single-fan options the U14S is only 1.4 °C behind the D15S (60.0 vs 61.4). How does it do its magic? Who knows? It is a fine heatsink that won’t interfere with tall RAM. You could improve the cooling by little more than a degree by buying an NF-A15 and putting it on the back side of the heatsink as a pull fan. But the Noctua engineers think gains to be had over the single fan is not worth the cost. However we are all about limit pushing here, so Noctua includes a second set of fan clips with the NH-U14S kit.

Overall, the NF-P12 redux fans do not sacrifice any of the performance. You still get Noctua’s legendary 6-year warranty, and a rated MTBF of over 150,000 hours.

What happens when Noctua gives us airflow AND static pressure? They have a new material that lets the fan blades stay REALLY close to the fan frame. The NF-A12x25 series does not disappoint when it comes to performance.

The NH-U9 TR4-SP3 should most definitely reside on any builder’s list for a compact Threadripper build.

Check out this amazing customised heatsink cover by Le Funky (http://www.lefunky.net )! While spray-painting heatsinks is difficult and reduces performance, our #chromax covers can easily be repainted with custom colours and decorations! http://www.noctua.at/chromax

If you want top-tier performance with ultra-low noise levels and extra expansion-slot room, the Noctua NH-D15S is a damn good option.

The Noctua NH-D15S is probably the best CPU cooler that we’ve tested and it improves the already outstanding and excellent-performing NH-D15. It delivers high-class performance plus it is also a product perfect for anyone trying to build a new system; plus, aside from being one of the most silent coolers around, it even managed to stay hushed even when we tried dialing some hefty overclocks. It definitely stayed very quiet despite putting a lot of heat on the CPU.

The NH-C14S is a good performing product in a dense heatpipe cooling market, the cooler becomes truly magical at default processor clock frequencies versus noise levels, I am still a little perplexed by the sheer noise level (the lack of it).

The transformation of the NH-C14 to the NH-C14S was a very slight one. The tower simply needed to be shifted slight over, and at first glance the differences are nearly imperceptible. Thankfully the performance differences are imperceptible, as well, leaving you with simply a more compatible NH-C14.

Looking for an air cooler somewhere between the Hyper 212 EVO and the beast that is the NH-D15? If so, you may want to look at the NH-U14S or the NH-U12S single tower cooler from Noctua. Designed to fit in more cases and not interfere with memory, these coolers still pack a punch while leaving more room in your case.

This Noctua NH-L12 was originally acquired for use in an editing rig here at Linus Media Group, but with the whole-room water cooling project that plan went out the window... But if you're NOT planning on water cooling a room full of computers, should you consider the NH-L12?

Offering complete compatibility with the memory, motherboard, and video cards, the NH-D15S is the third most efficient air cooler we have tested and does so with virtually no noise! While it is a bit expensive, we have no issues recommending it.

Today Silas takes a look at the Noctua NH U12S TR4 SP3 cooler, its not a bad cooler - we think of it as a pretty good little cooler, but its only £1 less than the more capable NH U14S which is a much better proposition overall. If you have enough room inside the case to handle it. Read the full review over at www.kitguru.net

The Noctua NF-S12A has a lot of flexibility. It offers an excellent balance between acoustics, performance and sturdiness. You are able to tweak the rpm therefore setting your own preference ratio for the sound reduction and fan speed. There is also an extensive Noctua accessory bundle for each of the three fan which gives the user a lot more flexibility than they already have.

Noctua NF-S12A FLX, PWM, ULN Fans Video Review
The Noctua NF-S12A FLX, PWM, ULN Fans are outstanding and will fit the bill no matter what case cooling application you have. The FLX is a flexible fan for most applications. PWM stands for pulse width modulation and this fan has a 4pin connector. ULN stands for ultra low noise and it's near silent. All these fans perform well, are reliable & quiet. Thermal Paste....Now Twice As Good? [Noctua NT-H2]
I've been a big fan of Noctua's NT-H1 thermal paste, and you've probably seen me use it hundreds of times in various videos. Well, now Noctua claim to have made it even better with the NT-H2 paste but is it worth the extra cost? Let's find out and also take a look at their new cleaning wipes too. Comparing Noctua’s NT-H1 and NT-H2 thermal pastes
Further improving the award-winning NT-H1, Noctua’s NT-H2 thermal compound uses a new, fine-tuned mixture of metal oxide micro-particles for even lower thermal resistance and reduced bond-line thickness at typical mounting pressures. This allows it to achieve an even better performance in most application scenarios, making it ideal for enthusiasts looking for that slight cooling edge. This video shows you what kind of differences in performance can you expect to achieve and which factors you should keep in mind when testing thermal compounds. Noctua industrial PPC and redux fans review
I was curious about the new line of fans from Noctua since I'm a big fan of their NF-F12 and NF-A14 series of fans. I reached out to see if they would be willing to send a few for me to take a look at. To my surprise, they sent me nine of them. I take a look at the new redux series fans ranging from 80mm to 140mm and the new 120mm and 140mm industrial PPC series and put some of them to the test while doing a system build. Noctua NH-U12A Unboxing and Install (Meshify C Case - NH-D15 Comparison)
Noctua was amazing and hooked me up with their brand new NH-U12A cooler! I put it in my Meshify C case and it replaced my old NH-D15. So far I'm getting the same results I got before, compared to my NH-D15, but it's much smaller. I can finally see my G.Skill RGB ram and there is more room inside my case to work in. It was much easier plugging cables in and getting to screws, and etc! Shop now: https://bit.ly/2xzpXO7 or https://bit.ly/2JWqQGi |

Noctua NH U9S and NH D9L Low Profile Tower Cooler Overview, Intsallation and Benchmarks.
While Noctua’s new NH-U9S and NH-D9L were designed to comply with rack mount system standards, their low profile and horizontal airflow make them a natural choice for SFF and HTPC systems where CPU cooler space is limited. The Noctua NH-U9S meets 4U standards at 125mm tall, while the NH-D9L takes it a step further to meet the 110mm requirement of 3U standard. |

Noctua NH D15S High Compatibility CPU Cooler Overview, Benchmarks and Installation

Offering complete compatibility with the memory, motherboard, and video cards, the NH-D15S is the third most efficient air cooler we have tested and does so with virtually no noise! While it is a bit expensive, we have no issues recommending it.

Noctua designed the NH-U12A to cover a very specific portion of the market – users that want a top-tier air cooler but are limited by the space available in their systems. Although this rarely is a concern for home users with high-end ATX tower cases, it is a growing issue for those building compact gaming systems, be it for living room use or just easier transportation.

Premium cooling and unique presentation often dictates a premium price. The Noctua NH-U12A certainly checks each of those boxes, providing formidable thermal performance and a signature look, with a price tag of $100

When you buy Noctua products, you can always count on their superior build quality (compared to anything else on the market, fans and air coolers alike), high thermal performance, and very low noise.

Noctua’s move to a more environmentally friendly packaging, inclusion of cleaning wipes and a reasonable improvement in performance makes this a decent upgrade for anyone that currently relies on their NT-H1, and thanks to the larger 10g tubes, you can get better value for money too.

Noctua's NH-C14S is definitely impressive since it offers performance almost on par with the NH-D15S, but with better memory clearance. It also has the added bonus of cooling surrounding motherboard components.

I've got a Noctua NH-D15 that I can't fit to my Lian Li O11 casing for sale. I'm willing to let it go for RM200. Just bought on 13/3/2020 from Netstore.

There isn’t a whole lot new or special about Noctua’s NH-D15S CPU cooler, however it still performed very well and darn near identical to the NH-D15 – as it should.

When it comes to cooling your system, there are few that do that job better than Noctua. While the cooler may not have had the best cooling performance we’ve ever seen, this much was to be expected, as it is still quite a compact unit. It’s also impressive how many systems this cooler is compatible with, thanks to 100% ram compatibility and a design that shouldn’t conflict with any motherboard VRM, compact and low-profile chassis’ should be an issue and so much more.

Just because it is small and quiet, it does not necessarily mean that it does not look good as well as it is a Noctua product after all, so it has excellent build quality and nickel finish. But as with every premium brand offering comes the premium brand pricing so the NH-D9L costs more than other 92mm heatsink offerings. The NH-D9L is thoroughly unique though and comes with a complete accessory kit so it can be used out of the box plus a 6-year warranty that justifies its pricing.

Noctua revives what a compact cooler can be! The NH-L9x65 can tame our beast, comes with rock solid mounting hardware, and comes in at a fairly good price.

The Noctua NH-U12S is an exceptional cooler. It might not be the best in terms of pure cooling performance, but it still gets the job done. At stock clocks, the cooler is simply fantastic for its size, doing extremely well against much more expensive competitors, such as the Corsair H90.

Overall I am happy with the purchase of the Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 and at around $40 USD is one of the shortest and quietest AM4 heatsinks on the market.

Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 Chromax Black Review
This compact CPU cooler is rich with excellent features. Aside from its size and cooling capabilities, it’s highly compatible with different components on a motherboard. In conclusion, the Noctua NH-U12S is a good CPU cooler that has a great clearance and a low noise output. The performance is good and the build quality is great. The installation process is easy thanks to the mounting system which has been refined with each model.

We continue to test Noctua’s range of CPU coolers and today we have the NH-D9L, a U3 compatible D-type dual tower cooler. We revisit this tiny, yet power cooler since it still viable today because of its small footprint and as you will see, it offers an incredible cooling headroom.

The Noctua NH-L9i is a good small form factor CPU cooler that offers a great performance to size ratio. The build quality is very good, on both the heatsink and the included 92mm fan. The noise output is adequate for a fan of this size with a maximum speed of 2500 RPM. http://tech-legend.com/reviews/noctua-nh-l9i/ Attached thumbnail(s) awol liked this post
