UPS/DHL cost a tonne. The difference between UPS/DHL and USPS is of course, the UPS/DHL is private courier company. More reliable but much more expensive. USPS is the main postal service in the US like our Pos Malaysia/Pos Laju.

Never had a problem with USPS except for that one time where my Priority International Express Mail took about two weeks instead of 5 - 7 days to reach my place. The tracking on the website was stuck for days before my item was finally "internationally dispatched" then took longer to arrive at custom. But overall, I can say USPS is pretty reliable for me so far. Sometimes, the first class can take up to 3 weeks, but usually arrives within 10 days (the speed is similar to Priority, lol but without tracking/insurance).

Recently, I noticed that even the first class mail can sorta be 'tracked'. The 'tracking' # usually starts with LN... LJ... LC.... the USPS website will write something like "Acceptance" or "Processed through Sort Facility..." then at least you know the seller did post out your item. There's no further detailed tracking though, until the item eventually shows up at your place.
