It's starting to get a bit worrying whether Scholes will sign a new contract or not, but from experience, he tends to not want to discuss contracts before the season is over.

Most likely we'll see the contract extension just before or after the season ends.

Regardless, I've always been a strong advocate that we need a new creative midfielder and that some of our 2nd string just aren't cut out for the job. Unfortunately, people just brush me off and say I'm not supportive of our young players. *shrugs*
*
I second that. biggrin.gif

We seem to be full of future plan for defenders, strikers and even goalkeeper, but not midfielder. The current bunch of the youngster we have, they just couldn't live up to the expectation of being United's core for creative play. We need that little bit of flair, like what Scholes and Giggs been doing from season to season, with all those instinctive pass, long range killer pass, a moment of genius play, etc. We need a creative attacking midfielder to help supplying balls to the strike force in future. cool.gif

Time to invest on wonderkidz again? laugh.gif

I know the sun is hot at Anfield, but the lads need to be calm down and play their head on the pitch, not headbutt the opponents.

How come Hernandez replace Nani by the way? Change of tactic?

We lack an influential figure in the midfield. Everytime facing situation like this, they always look for Giggs to perform miracles. How can you expect him to play his wizardry everytime the team is in dip shit? sweat.gif

The only positive thing would the the goal from Chicharito. His positioning is very good, and he does show the spirit of 'never say die', which hardly reflected by the other players. sad.gif

I think it's not the first time Carragher made tackle like that in Premiership, and yet didn't get the correct punishment. This trend will only stop the skillful players who like to dribble to stop joining the BPL for the sake of their legs! shakehead.gif

The next 3 games will be 3 different type of game: FA Cup, CL and BPL, but thank God they are all home games. Hope the camp can regain the winning mood and the injured players can join in the squad ASAP.

Still no news or report coming out of Old Trafford. Hair dryer treatment one by one maybe? laugh.gif

Wow, troll fest going on here too? I also got some trolling by friends on FB. They just denied the horrendous tackle by Carragher and blame Nani for overreacting. They just won't accept the fact that their team hero made mistake and condemn him. Instead, they twisted the fact and find us to blame. Wow. laugh.gif

Valencia back for United title run

Oh oh oh, the supplier is back in action soon? Another news signaling the close return of the winger to boost the squad. I hope Park will come back soon too as we need every manpower we have for the midfield powah!

With Chelsea gone, Arsenal will have a good chance to lift the FA cup trophy (that is, if they can beat United this weekend). So I think they probably will go all out for it, as a way to bounce back from last night's disappointment in Nou Camp.

Can Old Trafford be as maniac as Nou Camp? biggrin.gif

Valencia returning. It'll be like a new signing. LOL.

How often I heard of the same line when they refer to a certain Owen Hargreaves? laugh.gif

Yeah, that one is the best example of "the bigger the expectation, the bigger the disappoinment". mega_shok.gif

Actually during the last game at Anfield, my Dad was complaining about lack of free kick taker in the squad. Then that time it reminded me of Hargreaves' free kick skill. I think he is the closest thing to Beckham's free kick we ever had. But too bad... shakehead.gif
