QUOTE(rekrazie @ Mar 13 2011, 09:04 AM) any wallpaper? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Scholes to miss two gamesQUOTE Paul Scholes will miss United’s next two domestic matches after picking up his 10th booking of the season against Arsenal on Saturday.
The 36-year-old, who came on as a late substitute in the FA Cup quarter-final, incurred the wrath of referee Chris Foy when he went in strongly on Marouane Chamakh.
The tackle left the Moroccan on the ground and Foy reaching for his pocket, much to Scholes' chagrin.
Under the FA’s disciplinary regulations, any player who picks up 10 yellow cards before the second Sunday of April is subject to an automatic two-game ban and a £15 fine.
That means Scholes will miss the Reds’ clashes with Bolton Wanderers (Saturday 19 March) and West Ham United (Saturday 2 April). http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features...-two-games.aspxThis post has been edited by alien2003: Mar 13 2011, 10:57 AM

QUOTE(pyroboy1911 @ Mar 13 2011, 11:03 AM) parking fine also cost more than this did i miss the rule or sth? i tot it's 1 match suspension every fifth yellow cards? i only realized this 2 match ban for 10th card after Charlie Adams' suspension, and now Scholes. 1st 5 bookings [deadline 31 Dec 2010] = 1 match ban Another 5 (total 10) [deadline 2nd Sunday of April 2011] = 2 match ban Another 5 (total 15) = 3 match ban and so on. We should know better when Sir Alex say the Marseille game is not in his mind at all Cant blame us for after looking at that lineup. Gibson as the only recognized central midfielder. Overall, all did their part and MOTM has to be VDS. It will be a sad day on the day he officially retiring And Djourou is ruled out for the rest of the season This post has been edited by alien2003: Mar 13 2011, 03:15 PM

QUOTE Rio Ferdinand set to miss England tie against Wales
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson does not expect Rio Ferdinand to be fit for England's Euro 2012 qualifier against Wales on 26 March.
The 32-year-old defender is sidelined with a calf injury picked up ahead of United's loss at Wolves on 5 February.
"Rio has been doing a bit of running. He will be ready for the game after the internationals," said Ferguson.
"I wouldn't have thought he would have a chance before that. I don't think it would be wise for him to be called up." http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/9423594.stm

Ferdinand out until April - but Nani set to returnQUOTE Rio Ferdinand has been ruled out of action until April - but Nani could be set for a swift comeback against Marseille.
England captain Ferdinand hasn’t played since United’s 3-1 win against Aston Villa at the start of February because of a calf injury.
Nani missed Saturday's FA Cup quarter final win against Arsenal because of a deep gash to his shin.
Sir Alex Ferguson says Ferdinand is not likely to make a comeback in time for England’s European Championship qualifier with Wales on March 26, but hopes his Portuguese winger will be back in the squad for the Champions League second clash with Marseille.
He has pencilled in a return for Ferdinand for the Premier League trip to West Ham on April 2.
"Rio has been doing a bit of running,” said the United manager. “He will be ready for the game after the internationals.
"I wouldn't have thought he would have a chance before that. I don't think it would be wise for him to be called up by England. He hasn't played for us since January."
But better news for Ferguson is the rapid recovery of Nani following the injury suffered after a collision with Jamie Carragher in the 3-1 defeat to Liverpool two weeks ago.
"Nani has had the stitches removed and has a chance for Tuesday," he said. "He's done some work on the bike, but the problem is that he hasn't trained yet." http://menmedia.co.uk/manchestereveningnew...i_set_to_return
