the flood footage both at al jazeera and cnn are really unbelievable
the water rose to the height of the flyover bridge just within minutes, and the guy on the bridge still not moving seeing the rapidly raising water, he only make his escape when the water hit the bridge, maybe in his never expected the water will never get that high Added on March 11, 2011, 4:35 pm QUOTE(aiyish @ Mar 11 2011, 04:28 PM) most likely internet is disrupted due to the quakeThis post has been edited by greyshadow: Mar 11 2011, 04:35 PM |

Sabah, Labuan folk told to avoid the coast
March 11, 2011 KUALA LUMPUR, March 11 — Sabah and Labuan residents have been advised to stay away from the coast due to rough seas and high sea level expected to occur between 6pm and midnight tonight. The Malaysian Meteorological Department issued the reminder following the strong earthquake which hit northeast Japan this afternoon. The 8.9-magnitude earthquake hit the northeast coast of Honshu, Japan at 1.46pm, at 4,434km northeast of Kudat, Sabah. The earthquake triggered a tsunami in Japan. However, no tsunami warning was issued for Malaysia. — Bernama Added on March 11, 2011, 5:21 pmno swimming nakked in the sea today for you, gundam This post has been edited by greyshadow: Mar 11 2011, 05:21 PM |

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Mar 22 2011, 05:06 PM) Maybe it's just me, I just don't feel it when it comes to having children. I've had families from my side bringing over their brood, playing with their kids and all during gatherings, but I feel nothing. Not even a shred of yearning to have kids or marriage. Is that wrong, am I a mutagenic freak? dun worry, string, the time will comei was same like you when I'm still a bachelor, no feeling for kids and marriage until i met my wifey, fell madly in love, got married, and now am a father of two enjoying the marriage life and fatherhood now |

QUOTE(gundamalpha @ Mar 22 2011, 05:02 PM) Oh you makan at their branch, still good but not best they got so many branch, dunno which one is the ori one That area nothing much, but if you are willing to walk further across Asia City then you'll reach Sinsuran/Kampung Air. The tom yam in Sinsuran and kon lou mie in Kampung Air are quite popular (I waited 45mins for the kon lou mie this morning) waited 45min just for a kon lou mie? won't have the luxury of time to wait tried a few stalls of kon lou mie, quite similar to sarawak version |
