QUOTE(lunatique @ Mar 1 2011, 12:36 PM) No la... U look at the top of every page... I've categorized every page.. So it's not really confusing lol. Maybe to some people, but its the cost of being "different"...QUOTE(monza84 @ Mar 1 2011, 12:48 PM) No la I used "desktop visualizer" and those are customized icons.... some from google and some made by myself |

QUOTE(pluginbaby @ Mar 1 2011, 01:50 PM) im loving custom UIs on android.. i dislike stock android for some reasons.. to me HTC Sense and TouchWiz really deserve to be called a custom UI and should be learned by others.. HTC Sense is more to simple but qualityuser experience while samsung grants a sorta like a new flavour to stock android.. im loving the looks of the new TouchWiz4 camera editing app btw.. it really catches my eye and i do know that im gonna use it frequently too if i owned it.. I feel you brah... but truth is I've seen iphone3gs and ip4, which I'm not really that impressed on both hardware and software. Easiest comparison of DHD & Ip4 is by placing both of them side by side with price tag on them. Pay an extra 9 bucks and you get DHD with 4.3' display + sexy physical appearance that looks and feel solid as oppose to ip4's sleek and clean but felt fragile without any casing...by having a casing, all those sexy fragile looking glass will be covered, leaving only a tiny screen... the software side of the iphone4 may offer more than enough functionality to those non-hardcore-modding-geek-nerds BUT I've paid that huge amount of $ on a device and I'm expected to have the ability to mod most if not ALL the features that I want..It wont come as add-on package.. those stuffs will be sewed into the framework or else people would just simply copy and use it.. manufacturers will lose their specialty if that happens.. they all tied the apps to a tight framework now and if one wishes to port, they have to port the whole framework.. i would to the same thing too if im working for them.. Last but not least, you'll get sick of unker/auntie asking, "wow is that the new iphone?" When you're holding the DHD.... but in the end you get to say "iphone doesnt have screen this big, its tiny" Seriously that's how common an iPhone is... Sorry long post |

QUOTE(lunatique @ Mar 1 2011, 02:12 PM) +1 on the " part Yah.. so those effortless-none-hardcore-modding users shoulda get the iphones.....and I say get android for the sake of the freedom we get..at least we are different to iFags. I got a fren who's an iFag, but when he comes to rooting and custom-roming his own Galaxy S, he'll go, "Do it for me la. which one good one put for me" |

Teach la bro QUOTE(stormlcc @ Mar 1 2011, 02:33 PM) i have psx4droid in my DHD, and when i showed (ff7) it to a friend (who loves psx rpg games) who are using lIephone4 he asked me whether his phone got or not......I told him to dl psx4all (apple version).......he searched it, and when he presses download......oooops he can't because Mr. Jobs deemed the user of HIS phone is too stupid and doesn't allow it..... and... on a 4.3' screen its still ok to play some ps games. Now imagine on their screen lol |

QUOTE(monza84 @ Mar 3 2011, 03:02 PM) Better do a survey first and see whether this phone would suits your need...iPhone battery is superior that DHD for your info,if that's ok with you then its should be a superb phone to own I think it is also up to you if you see urself as an avid techie user...if you'll not be modding/tweaking/gaining more freedom on your phone, then iPhone may deemed better for you. Though I don't really like Apple's way of "walled garden".Android is never hard to use, only flexible and low, if not ZERO restrictions at all. DHD is my first ever Android phone and probably I'll be supporting future Android phones only. I don't like being limited to the device that I paid for. slightly off topic: The most annoying stuff that drove me away from Apple.. ![]() |

QUOTE(WindChaseR @ Mar 3 2011, 03:12 PM) LOL, i dun support dem to, doesnt like the way of the user tat tot demself very high lvl.. Yeah there are a few, but I think all of them requires Jailbreaking. So let's say if a user wanted an easy to use phone that doesnt require any rooting (Apple) but he/she wanna be able to view flash contents which then the need of jailbreaking is needed...but i tot 3rd party flash player can be installed? conclusion, you'll ended up rooting/jailbreaking ur device either way, except that you can choose not to root your Android phone and STILL be able to view flash contents |
