You can either get framwork-res.apk and customize it with UOT Kitchen... Or you can download from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=894837

Did you guys install the busybox need by titanium backup..? Cant help much since i nvr use any backup apps... smile.gif
*
Didn't know that we need it. sad.gif

Since you never use any backup apps, do you manually install them back after flashing ROMs? How about saved-datas (such as games)?

ok...busybox installed and i can see all my apps listed there ... ready to backup smile.gif

and now ... there's 3 options
1) Backup all user apps
2) Backup all system data
3) Backup all user apps + system data

i suppose option 3 is the best?
*
Yeah. Technically.. laugh.gif

sad.gif Sad case, didn't know that it requires BusyBox. Luckily not much save files are gone sad.gif

luckily u just use it for a few days ...

how do u backup your contacts? i read from first page, it said use Google ... but how to do it?
*
Assuming you added your contacts via "People" to your "Phone" (Stored in phone).

1) Menu > Import/Export > Export from "Phone" to SDCard

2) Menu > Delete > delete all laugh.gif

3) Menu > Import/Export > Import from SDCard > in the "To Which location? Google / Phone", choose Google. Then go to Syncing options to sync the contact. It'll be uploaded to Google Contacts (Can be checked via googles.com/contacts)

If it fails to sync, go to manage application and "Clear Data" for contacts.. or something similar, I forgot. Later I check.. busy with last minute assignment now laugh.gif

i've done till step 3 ... when i check google.com/contact ... my contacts are not there
now my contact only showing "Phone" ... i've hide others contacts (Google, Facebook, SIM)
*
Have you sync-ed it up? Does it sync successfully? The best way is still clearing the data in "Contacts Storage" (Manage Apps > All > Contacts Storage > Clear Data). MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AT LEAST BACKED UP TO SD CARD, JUST IN CASE!

After than re-import to your google account via People, then sync, supposely job's done. At least for me tho biggrin.gif

thanks alot guys for helping and answering my questions here  thumbup.gif

Yes, you can import it from SD Card as well. But once your contact's at Google Cloud, it's easier already. Unless there's some weird error and somehow you're perfectionist.. haha. I had a weird issue (I guess it's not only me since one other forummer mentiond that it happened to him as well), and it bothers me badly (Even though it only happen on "Editting Mode") doh.gif

with recommended radio + minimize phone setting, of coz you can mr polar...~  icon_rolleyes.gif

Lowest Brightness, unticked Background Data, anything else can minimize phone batt. usage? laugh.gif

By the way, is those apps running in background when exit (Back/Home key) is due to "Background Data" is enabled? Cause I installed some task manager previously, and noticed that...

Web browser, Facebook, Twitter, EVERYTHING.. never close at all. They just hide in background and consume the RAM rclxub.gif doh.gif shakehead.gif

Anyways, time to sleep.. tomorrow morning play chase-up reading with DHD thread again tongue.gif

Something is wrong and draining my battery away.. but can't figure it out. Is is due to leaving WiFi on without closing it?
