Hm?

Did you actually open Visionary? From the app list, open it, should have two buttons called temp root and perm root. Press temp root first, then when its done press perm root (your phone will reboot after this). Now after its reboot, if you see some SuperUser in your app list, its rooted.

Don't need to connect anything to the DHD, just put usb debugging on in settings, then do the rooting again. (without anything connected to the phone)

Ah, as a additional note, don't bother with that tick. Untick that and press the temproot button instead, then press perm root.

Get a custom launcher from the market like LauncherPro or ADWLauncher if you're tired of Sense, then mess with every settings it has Keep trying one setting or another, you'll end up customizing it

Kernel affects the processor's speed range, processor's voltage use, and quite a bunch of stuff. But since you have already flashed the ROM, its not needed to flash a seperate kernel since the ROM already comes with a good one.

If after flashing the new rom and you find no problems with the battery and signal strength, then there's no need to flash another radio. The radio affects the battery life and signal strength btw

Has anyone tried the new VillainROM? Its now a port of the Incredible S ROM for the DHD, and many said its the smoothest ROM ever used by them

Arggghhh I HATE the 'improved' sound quality of the ARHD 3.0!

Messed up the volume and quality of PowerAMP, not to mention making the speaker crackle.

What about the lowered volume of the headset? Would love the headset volume and all to be left alone.
