hi all, i just got my dhd back from SIS already...according to them is hardware defect....and so they replaced me a new unit cause its within 14 days of purchase...

btw, would like to ask...previously i've already use my premium navi voucher code for the old phone...and now with this new unit...when i enter the same voucher code...it is stated not valid...should i ask from sis again or there's any bro who could help me out here?

btw...my car panel satelite will only lock in about 2-5 mins..is this normal?

what casing u use? maybe ur case blocking signal, try it without case? i lock in less than 30 secs.

Can't answer you specifically for that one, since I haven't got my DHD yet.

But GPS-wise, it does take time to lock to the satellite, especially on mobile devices since it's receiver is generally weaker compared to pure GPS devices.. How much lesser I don't know. Other factors do contribute in tho, such as where if it's clear sky or not, high-rise building blocking the reception signal, etc. etc.

If you want faster lock on, you can try enabling Assisted GPS (A-GPS), which works by "getting your current location via telco", but there will be a data charge. Costed me 10~20 cent every lock on my N79.

Without assisted GPS, it will take 1min up to 5min to lock (depending on condition)
But with assisted GPS, it takes 10seconds~60seconds to lock..

Correct me if I'm wrong

im using moovworks leather pouch...is it the first few times might take longer time to lock in? hmm...now i need to wait tomorrow and ask SIS again about the premium voucher...coz now im under 30days free trial of premium navigation..

Well, on LeeDroid 2.2.2, the speaker also seems a bit loud not like before ..from mike's changelog, i guess the speaker does has a little improvement in volume, what i really hope is it won't make the sound sounded like cracking ...so, anyone here tried already??

ARHD 3.0 is standalone or need .15 -> .16 -> 2.1 ?

What u mean crash?? Force close application or whole thing hang??
So far i only encounter once for the force close problem.
Maybe a full wipe + reflash may helps. Otherwise tell Lee about your prob
