hey there, I just got to another country - australia to be exact. i noticed that almost every store here sells R4 games. to my knowledge R1 is the best, so it R4 the worst? besides the games here are more expensive than malaysia, but all R4. shud i buy the R4 games?

anyways, from what i read above, you state that you are planning to get from the sony centre. think you shud, that way you dont have to worry about anything. if you want, you can find sellers on garage sales>games. saw a few trusted seller there.
ylod mostly happens on the phat ps3, not so often on the slim ones. not sure if its covered under warranty. urmm ori games can b saved on the hdd only if you download them on the PSN store, not transfer it from the bluray that you purchased.

go search at garage sales dude. i know your excitement when first getting the console, but dont buy too many games as you might wanna identify which genre of games you are really interested in. can always rent. games aint exactly cheap, thus buying something you dont like wud b quite bad. happy gaming!

my problem is, according to the website, it is japanese edition, with japanese writtings at the cover. does this mean that all the words and conversation in the game will be in japanese?

i didnt expected it to be japanese version. just that its apparently the 'special edition' for AC brotherhood. like the red cover anyways. hmm how do i know whether the gameplay is in english or not?

upgraded to v3.7, no problem so far.

i had this problem too. always maintenance! what i did was i emailed the person and he did it for me. but you have to have a PSN id thats the same country as where your console was purchased. hope this helps.
