guys.. i got some problem la. i just bought new hdmi cable today because my old hdmi cable (cheapo one) seem not work perfectly, (tend to lost signal sometimes). i want to play with my lcd monitor which dont have hdmi port. only got dvi port. so i use the dvi-hdmi converter.

But the problem is, my new hdmi cable not work. and i dont know somehow my monitor unable to detect my ps3. i try use my hd media player also not working. Then i change back, to my old hdmi cable, and its working, include my hd media player working as well.

But, when i use my new hdmi cable to my tv its work perfectly. Does its mean my new hdmi cable faulty or it just cannot use with dvi-hdmi converter? my new hdmi 1.4v thou.

Hope anyone can help. thanks.

yeap! that the right answer bro. full mark. hehe.. actually, the dvi adapter can only work with with hdmi v1.3. and not support hdmi v1.4. really waste my money buy that hdmi cable. =.="

guys. WTA. does cooling like below is necessary on PS3 Slim? amber temp is without ac.

guys. can i place and set up my PS3 like in the picture? does it get enough air space?

My room kinda small. so i place the PS3 beside my rig. yeah. i place my rig on the table. no space to put it down. and the gap between it just 10cm. i wonder does my PS3 got enough airflow.

freeze on me. i play it. and its freeze. cannot move on. then i quite play. givup ady. waste 10hours of gameplay.

guys.. help me out. i got some problem with my PS3 slim 160gb / CECH 2506A.

Ok. here the thing. Today i just start to update my EA MMA, thought to try playing it online. Then after install, the game run like usual. When i want to play online, it said that the new firmware is needed. (use 3.61 ATM). Then i quick the game and want to off my consoles, as i plan to download the firmware through my pc. But then suddenly my PS3 freeze and hang. It give three times beeps, and freeze. No menu on the screen. Nothing. My screen turn black all of the sudden. Controller also wont work. Then i eject the d*** using manual button and the disc come out. But when i try to turn if off, it cant. I dont know what happen, but it seem i cant turn it off. I try pressing the power button and hold, still my PS3 wont turn off. Case like this not always happen. iinm, this is 2nd time, since i own PS3 about a month.

i never play online before this, as all my game it seem cannot play online, such as Star Ocean, Enchanted Arms, and more RPG tittle. so, this is my 1st attempt to play only with MMA. though can fight with other player online.

any idea whats wrong with my PS3?

wah. hdd crashed? that bad. the unit dont have warranty ady. plus it SG set. just now i turn it on and try playing some games. it seem all working perfectly. but.. it still make me worried. cannot enjoy anymore.

Just update to 3.66. Then i manage to play my MMA online through 7days trials. 1st time attempt to play online. Its really super great experience. Even thou its slightly lag, due to my poor internet connection, overall i really enjoy it. However i loose by TKO. haha..

Later will try play online with my upcoming tittle kz3 and socom 4 that will arrive this thursday.

yup. not freeze anymore. hopefully my PS3 can stay with me at least 1 year. haha. thanks a lot bro.

oh. that my rig. using haf 922 case. kinda hardcore pc gamers back then. just migrate to console about a month.

Added on July 14, 2011, 4:02 pmactually. its simple things bro. yeah. it might kinda confusing if you dont have ps3. but once you have ps3, you will see and understand step by step. just get ps3 first. the learn slowly. its better this way, than you learn but dont have ps3.
