he said most of the 'crack' happened to R3 disc..

Try using the normal cable which came with the ps3. Not sure what it is called, but it has the yellow connector 1...
see if it works. Mine was just repaired back. HDMI port gone.
Overheat?Previously, when i play NFS, my ps3 is in the cabinet. It gave me those problems. Then whenever i play, i pull out the ps3 for better ventilation, and no more such problem.

Btw guys, my ps3 just sent back from sony center for a faulty HDMI port. But, why did they need to format my hdd???all saves are lost.
My main concern is, what happened to purchased pack?I bought 2 packs from NFS:Hot pursuit. Now its gone. PSN is not accesible...Is it redownloadable?Or need to re-purchase??

Stupid SONY SERVICE MALAYSIA,,,i'm sending my console to check up n repair about noisy sound when I put the disc but U juz give it enable to play disc only and still noisy sound accured,,,playing juz 1 hour n then the disc enable to play,,,WTF,,I had wait two weeks for this repair yet U test my patience

Hmm ... how to transfer PS3 data from current HDD to a new HDD using only one PS3 eh?

1x of external HDD
1x of 2.5" HDD for PS3 (bigger size than old one)

in order to change right?

Backup all things from old HDD using backup utility of PS3 and change the new HDD in. After that restore all backup from the external HDD to the new HDD?

are you guys able to log in to ps network on pc to change ur pw? The ps network on ps3 says an email has been sent to change pw. but when i clicked the link, a page stating system under maintenance appeared.
Anyone experiencing the same issue?

my slim bought last year february. around the time ff13 launch

and yes i am in aircond room.

one thing i noticed. if i leave the slim in standby mode, no need to warm up. if i unplug the ps3 or off the main power, then turn on a few hours later, then need to warm up, else it will shut down.

sucks to be me. but so far after warmed up i can play games no problems, up to 5-6 hours tested yesterday.

Yes happened to me before while downloading Lara Croft GOL, downloading halfway then blackout after continue download finish try to install come out error message corrupted. Need to delete the downloaded file and redownload all over again.

I encountered once last time, also around 10%+, then prompt error message. For my case, I accidentally switch off power supply without proper shut down PS3 during download process. When I turn on PS3, the download still continue without any problem and can reach 100%. But during installation, it prompt error message. Only solution is delete downloaded file and re-download it, then it can install properly.

i wanna download about 40gb of games one shot.
