Any cheap hdmi cable that you can buy in tesco will work with ps3. Unless you have 3D tv, then you need 1.4 cable.

No difference. you will be conned if you pay more for expensive cable. HDMI is digital. Makes no difference if cable is cheap or expensive.

PS3 has a universal power supply. You don't need to use voltage converter. doh.gif

you cannot register at sony center. registration is only done online or calling asia psn tech support.

PS3 from other regions are not applicable for warranty by Sony Malaysia.

if you see the words "supports move" on the game box, then you know those shooting games support gun. if not, it use ds3 only.

Firmware update are not the cause of PS3 breakdown. It's probably a hardware problem. I have already updated to 3.61 more then 2 weeks ago and have no problems on my slim ps3.

3 reasons why some guys get gray imported ps3:

1. they rather save RM100, then spend a little more to buy official set with warranty.
2. there are no sony stores in their area for them to buy official ps3.
3. they are casual consumers who have little or no knowledge about official ps3.

most of them fall into category 1.

ALL SONY STORES ARE SELLING OFFICIAL PS3 WITH OFFICIAL SONY MALAYSIA WARRANTY.

only those cheap morons want to save RM100, that's why they go to Ah long game shop and buy sg ps3 with no local warranty.

Have you changed your password or not? If not, please change password then log in again to PS Store and you will see a big Welcome Back banner on the right of PS store.
