Hi guys sry ask noob question. The controller included in the ps3 box is sixaxis or ds3? How to differentiate these two? Thanks!

for slim nowdays all controllers are Dual Shock 3..
few infos for u:
DualShock 3s are the standard PlayStation 3 controllers. SIXAXIS used to be the standard, but since the lawsuit involving Immersion was settled, Sony was able to bring back the DualShocks.
~Vibration - The SIXAXIS controllers were not enabled with vibration. It was simply missing due to the lawsuit that wasn't settled in time for the released of the PS3.
~Plastic - The material used in earlier SIXAXIS controllers were an almost clear black; enough that you can see right through it. Later SIXAXIS controllers and all DualShock 3 controllers are solid colors.
~No Bluetooth Drop - SIXAXIS controllers had a bluetooth problem where it would randomly shut off by itself and you were forced to turn it back on. This was very disruptive during online gaming, but the DualShock 3s don't have that problem.
~Slightly Heavier - Due to the vibration pads inside the DS3s, it is heavier than the older SIXAXIS controllers. The weight also adds structure and doesn't feel as toy-ish.
~Color - SIXAXIS controllers have only been available in black (commercially). DualShock 3 controllers are available in silver, black, blue, red, pink, white bla bla bla
~No Analog Malfunction - Many SIXAXIS controllers had a problem where the left or right (or both) analog sticks would get stuck or squeak during gameplay. The DS3s rarely to never have that problem.
i still got my SIXAXIS from my previous PHAT and using it..
i like the weight of da controller.. DS3 too light for me.. no feel..

i does squeak when u press the L3 stick..
