Guys,have a problem

Right now I'm using TP-Link W8960N and I'm trying to connect it via Ethernet cable but the PS3 wont detect the cable.

I tried with two different ethernet cables but it wont work.Funny thing is that the PS3 can detect wireless signal from it and I can go online via wireless connection.

Why is this happening??

guys,this mayb noob question but i still wan 2 ask 4 confirmation. at my ps3 box, it shows the picture of earth with a number 3. it means it region 3 rite?so, can i play games on R1 or R2?

ic.. earth with a number 3 eh..
dat means u're buying a console for the 3rd world country..
go return it and get one which have pictar of the earth with number 1..

Hey i got a problem i recently got a hdmi to dvi adapter to conect my ps3 to a samsung 2243 monitor but it doesn't work, it only shows a black screen. tried the adapter with my pc and it worked. so i guess the trouble is with the ps3, how do i go about this?

guys,how long usually u play ur ps3?i want to play 4 long time but since i just buy it,scared it will overheated if i play too long..

I need some help! I used my HDMI cable for my PS3 to connect to my TV. There is picture but there is no sound! What should I do? I tried using the AV cables for sound only but still cannot. I tried putting the AV cables into audio output and input also doesn't work. But if i use all 3 on another port, i have sound and picture but it is on AV. The picture quality is horrible.

Hey guys, finally got me a PS3! Though, I've a wee problem:

After not getting the welcome thingy from the PS3, I had to unplug my Astro AV cables and such and put the PS3 ones in their place. Voila!

Now, I am wondering how do I set either the PS3 or Astro to AV2 since AV1 was originally for Astro. I've now moved the Astro cables "up" (there are two rows, bottom one is for PS3) but no nothing on AV2 which I assumed would take up a slot there.

Sorry if I've confused anyone as this is coming from a tech illiterate meathead.

Do your house has a lcd/led tv?
Try on that, see if its sharp. Also, in ur ps3, is it set to run at 1080?Becos by default, the ps3 is running on settings lower than 1080.
Have a try, and post back the result...as i was interested in getting that dell monitor too!

I have a CECHA 60GB and a CECHG 40GB. Planning to transfer my 40 GB power supply to my 60GB because read that it will lower the heat abit. Have anyone tried it?
