i just bought PS3 metallic blue edition 160gb in Sony Centre  ( The Boulevard ), Kuching, Sarawak.
i bought it RM1199 free HDMI cable, GoW remastered edition and 1 t-shirt. and 1 year warranty.

here is the problm.
the last time i checked it i should get a free ori copy of GT5 right?
but the seller did not give me the copy of GT5 games, they told me that the program is not available anymore.

can someone please give me advice about this?

Anyone knows any promo of Sony TV with PS3? Was looking at one last time for a RM 4k tv with free PS3. I think it was a 3D TV, but could be wrong.

guys.. help me out. i got some problem with my PS3 slim 160gb / CECH 2506A.

Ok. here the thing. Today i just start to update my EA MMA, thought to try playing it online. Then after install, the game run like usual. When i want to play online, it said that the new firmware is needed. (use 3.61 ATM). Then i quick the game and want to off my consoles, as i plan to download the firmware through my pc. But then suddenly my PS3 freeze and hang. It give three times beeps, and freeze. No menu on the screen. Nothing. My screen turn black all of the sudden. Controller also wont work. Then i eject the d*** using manual button and the disc come out. But when i try to turn if off, it cant. I dont know what happen, but it seem i cant turn it off. I try pressing the power button and hold, still my PS3 wont turn off. Case like this not always happen. iinm, this is 2nd time, since i own PS3 about a month.
Super scared right now. Guys, help me pls.

my PS3 is getting worst and worst, at first it turn to blinking red light with 3 beep sound everytime i start the PS3, after restart the become normal

but today it worsen, when i start PS3, blinking red with 3 beep, so i just restart but while watching movie not even 15mins it turn to blinking red with 3 beep again i keep restart and everytime less than 15 mins it turn off again...

just now i try to hold my ps3, the underside was quite warm (i put it in horizontal position), my vent is not blocked and there is very little dust on the vent because i just cleaned it recently, and i got a glimpse of the fan inside from the rear vent and it seems like the fan is not stick with dust like those old skol desktop fan, pretty clean inside, and the position of my ps3 is well ventilated too, at least 10cm from the wall
any solution to this blinking red light thing?

FYI, i have not played any games recently, didnt even insert a disc to the BD drive for a month, i just on the ps3 to watch movie using PS3 media server

Cannot Start. The Correct Hard Disk Was Not Found

When it Occured : Was playing Dragon Age II when the game hang, and I did a reset. After reset, the error message came out yesterday around 1 am.

What has done so far : I've looked at a few websites, and all ask to do soft reset and enter Bios. However, following the instructions, I can't even get into the Bios, and the error message keeps appearing.

PS3 Specs :
1. PS3 Slim - Latest Firmware (3.65 I think)
2. 500 HDD Seagate Momentus XT hybrid drive (bought about 6 months ago) - 60% filled.

Other Notes : A few games hang on my PS3 happened before (Dragon Age II, Assassin's Creed (both II & Brotherhood), normally around 1-2 times after about 50+ hours of play).

Anyone who experience this, appreciate to share what you did. I have tons of saves and if I had to reformat the drive, would like to recover them first.

I think he meant the DLC, for existing games.

PSN Games download is tied to the account used to download. If the user account is deleted, then the game cannot be played.

PSN DLC for Disc games (eg Need For Speed, Fifa, etc) cannot be deactivated once installed. Unless in-game settings allowed (eg Assassin's Creed Brotherhood). Other times its just whether you want to play the extra content only (eg almost every other game with DLC).

Just wanna ask around whether anyone of you guys encounter the same issue as i am.

Currently my PS3 start to unable detect game disc when insert into machine for certain times and then a pop up screen saying error XXXXXX...

But sometimes able to detect the disc smoothly... and sometimes need to switch on the machine for a few minutes first then insert game disc then its ok...

Is it a dying symptom for my PS3? actually not much play games with the machine, only play during weekends and bought the machine 2 years ago...

May I know why my Move controllers always change colors? It is normal right?
