At 8mm its really hard to MF, no? Cause all looks the same. Too wide. Unlike 300mm easy to MF.

that would be a wrong way to do it. that case, your near subjects will not be sharp. using hyperfocal, setting it to focus at 1 meter at f/4, everything from a few inches in front of the lens all the way to infinity will be in focus

but the key point is, 8mm crop is wider then 16 ff... that is the fun in the 8mm

Everyone blocking, Lightning not chun, Alot of shadows, They not looking, Timing not right. Indoor using flash = ALOT OF SHADOWS.
