QUOTE(silentser @ Mar 2 2011, 06:21 PM) thx IMHO, I recommend you to make a clean install from Froyo.. I'm using stock GB+Supercurio kernel right now. Everything is working great. Feels much much faster than my last Froyo-lagfix-enabledyeah mostly games that require the graphic is lag or wont start at all, just test NFS shift, when starting get black screen. QUOTE(gajahwhite @ Mar 5 2011, 06:56 PM) i just try the latest Android Windows 7 home screen.. I tried it just now. But straight away uninstall after it covers fullscreen including notification bar its nice.. got My Computer to view internal SD & external SD.. also got control panel where it is a short cut for every setting.. the start button work perfect.. its not like Windows mobile.. its just like a PC Windows 7.. smooth than SPB Shell.. but in term of 3D and cool look.. of coz SPB shell win.. |

QUOTE(- JaY - @ Mar 11 2011, 06:09 PM) Here are some bugs I found from my experience- memory leak: where its difficult to load multi-apps or switching between apps. gingerbread seems don't kill previous launched apps. But I just used AutoMemory with some settings and it solves the problem - FC: some restored apps from MyBackup got FC but can be solved by uninstall and reinstall - graphic problem: quadrant test shows plain grey image especially on 3D test |

QUOTE(lOrDjAbU @ Mar 12 2011, 11:23 AM) No real improvement over 10.1 for us Froyo users. No need to get hyped up. Wait for it to release officially lah. But, thanks for the link. not forcing anyone to use it. take it or leave it |

QUOTE(chris7524 @ Mar 13 2011, 07:10 AM) U can replace with ur google map, n used it as offline map. It save the map in ur internal sd that u view b4 using data network. It cant used as navigation app if no data network connection. For info, latest Google Maps v5 also has started this cool new feature which saves tile maps including 3D building into SD card for offline viewCorrect me if Im wrong bcos I used it long time ago. Not sure its update. |

for those who have installed MIUI from xda. I have few questions:
- does your wifi work? - does your 3G data work? - does your sdcard work? - have your tried to restore data/cache from CWM? does it work? I can get sdcard working but suddenly wifi not working. after flashing kernel, suddenly 3G not working pulak.. haishh *Edit: sorry, just ignore above questions. everything now works perfectly This post has been edited by pcboy: Mar 16 2011, 10:45 AM |

QUOTE(flawless_333 @ Mar 16 2011, 03:01 AM) Everything works fine except it can't detect external SD.. as long your daily usage doesn't use external SD (listening mp3, watch video etc), i think MIUI is stable. Here are my what-is-working list:- internal SD - 3G data - wifi - ringtone Try it, and you feel like using iPhone but with widgets. not only its theme/rom but some applications (i.e. gallery, lower dock) work like iphone style.. love it |

The only thing I feel uncomfortable about MIUI or CM7 is the camera/video recording quality. It decreases the quality very bad.. using MIUI for the past 2 days is beautiful .. i have to revert back to stock Gingerbread and get back to MIUI once I come back from my vacation. I definitely need good quality to use the camera during my holiday

QUOTE(darude87 @ Mar 17 2011, 07:54 AM) guys, any of you are facing screen flickering? it seems that my screen flicker more frequent already, and i only starting to see it after i flash to K13C speedmod 500hz, and i worry it might be hardware failure It happened to me too when using hardcore's kernel. I've flashed new stock froyo 2.2.1 or rom which doesnt use hardcore's kernel and it solved the problem |
