QUOTE(ken2291 @ Mar 1 2011, 12:44 PM) darky or doc, both lags for me. but I've stayed the longest on Darky 8.0 Hi Ken-san, how are you lately? I'm using same ROM as you JS5 latest with K12C kernel. But i feel abit lag, though just a very very very minimal lag. Which theme is better? I not dare to flash to JV1 yet. Have you? Added on March 1, 2011, 12:57 pm QUOTE(lOrDjAbU @ Mar 1 2011, 12:54 PM) This is the MIUI http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=835019 you mentioned? How about the CM7? I wanna try... I installed Simply ROM, but if i couldn't do the below, izzit important?
HOW TO CHANGE CSC WITH YOUR COUNTRY CODE: 1) Into Recovery go to "Backup and restore" 2) Select "Backup DATA + DBDATA + CACHE" 3) After is has finished reboot the phone 4) Into the DIALER write *#272*XXXXXXXXXXXX# where X series is your IMEI (show the IMEI with *#06#) 5) Select your country CODE 6) Click on INSTALL 7) Wait until it reboots and it do a wipe (automatically) 8) The phone will reboot and starts to vibrate (as corrupted file system) 9) Go into Recovery 10) Select "backup and restore", and then "restore" 11) Select your previous backup 12) Select "restore data" 13) Wait until it has finished, then select "reboot the phone" 14) Do the first boot! 15) Enjoy your new country code! |

Ok, thanks Fornax bro.
I found that battery drains pretty fast on Simply 2.4, then i check battery history, Gallery is more than Android in the usage. I try to replace it with Ok one, but battery still drain....sigh.. Anyone facing battery drain issue in Simply Galaxy 2.4? |

QUOTE(coD33 @ Mar 6 2011, 02:52 PM) Uv is under voltage. Meaning setting a lower voltage to the current processor. Lower voltage = Better battery life. Setting the voltage too low will caused the phone freeze/hang because it is underpowered. Imagine (might not necessary be true, just an example.. I took second method with previous downloaded Gallery3d.apk. Now i try first method...Thanks a lot bro!!!What do u mean replace it with OK one? There are many methods to replace the gallery if the current gallery is draining too much battery. First method: 1. Install sgs tools. U can grab one from the market under 'Captivate SGS tools' although this version (4.5) has more features to suit captivate. Older version of sgs tools will do just fine. 2.Under Upgrade Stock apps, select Modded 3D Gallery (Make sure u have online access eg. 3g/wifi) as it requires downloading the files. Second method: 1. U need to uninstall the current gallery. U can use titanium backup (easiest one) or using root explorer. 2. Install gallery 3d from market. Search for Gallery 3d. |

Hi bro, i replaced yesterday with modded Gallery but still the same, my battery drains from 100% to 75% from maybe 1am last night until this morning 8am. I checked in the battery history, the usage for Gallery is high and total usage hours = 9hrs +. Any idea? Look strange to me, i open task killer but i can't find Gallery is active in background. |
