hey i heard 2.2.1 is out, izit safe to upgrade to it if i had rooted my phone + lag fxed?

anyone know anywhere from KL i can find a good quality screen protector? Before this(actually until now) i'm searching for steinheil oleophobic but seems like nobody selling them @@ anyone know is there anything similar to that?
