has anyone try Xperia Arc Launcher? look cool..

i tried it already, really lag when enter at the screen overview, uninstall it immediately

coz.. im using it rite now.. smooth.. no lag.. the animation when moving icon also cool.. no lag.. app drawer also no lag..

Iam not a tech-goer. So is it still a good change to invest 2nd hand of i9000 16GB @ RM 1,400?

Why not a brand new Samsung Captivate? Same spec without 3G video camera. That my 2 cents.

if the condition is good then i would say its a good go, RM1400 price range won't able to get any phone that is better than SGS i would say

Hi bro, i replaced yesterday with modded Gallery but still the same, my battery drains from 100% to 75% from maybe 1am last night until this morning 8am. I checked in the battery history, the usage for Gallery is high and total usage hours = 9hrs +.

Any idea? Look strange to me, i open task killer but i can't find Gallery is active in background.

Here's the full steps that I did in bricking my phone.

Here's what I did:
Preparation:
1. Put phone into debugging mode.
2. Plugged in phone into the USB.

Procedure:

1. Used ADB to reboot into download mode
2. Replaced the Kies drivers with Heimdall drivers.
3. Unplugged the USB and replugged the USB for safety reasons.
4. Opened Heimdall.
5. Put in boot.bin and SBL.bin as primary and secondary bootloader.
6. Pressed start.
7. Noticed that progress bar in Heimdall is not moving after 10secs.
8. Noticed that progress bar is non-existent in phone.
9. Minimized Heimdall.
10. Maximized Heimdall and saw Start button unpressed.
11. Pressed Start Button again and got the error message: failed to retrieve config descriptor
12. Bricked my phone

Does your 3 button download combo work? If it is, you might still have a chance there.

It doesn't. I was going to flash with Heimdall to fix the 3-button combo.

uh. just read about heimdall here. i tot flashing in sgs would be safe enough (with odin n cmw). sorry on your phone & sorry could not help you much.

Added on March 7, 2011, 11:13 amummm... on the other thought, since we are in this community, why not we tong2 together and help pikachu1 sort his problem out. i found at ebay and found that the lowest price is about RM27 + free shipping (check the item here. shipping would be about 2-4 weeks duration

or does any shop at lowyat sell this? i don't mind donating few RM to help. maybe someday i also need to jig...

somebody here have already made a jig for his bricked phone..i don't remember who is it....anyway you can make it yourself..very2 simple...all your need is soldering skill..intermediate...

nope..just backup everything...disable your lagfix and tweaks...factory reset and flash via CWM..
