hai gaise. 5 o clock already wake up. no... still not asleep. dem. all because simply galaxy rom. less than 24 hour on that rom, i kenot tahan anymore the wrong color choice (and more or less the so-so battery life), i decided to flash to other rom.

find essential rom based on xxjq3 and strip down to ~90Mb. patiently download, flash this rom. it removed almost everything including calendar, gmail and FM radio too. apakehenyeyop...

try to install from apk file given but failed. i don't want to take the risk using this 'lite' rom, now i'm downloading juwe's rom. i don't know if it is better or not, but the framework looks nais... ~165Mb, oh miss my unifi.

Added on March 6, 2011, 6:35 amah mental block... why not using titanium to restore! nevermind. already on juve's.

settings are all in the recovery menu. different phones have different capacities.

i selected 'turn on oc' and '125uv' 125uv is the max but not all phones can support it. you can give it a try smile.gif

I'm giving Damian kernel a try. today is the second day using his kernel. Running at 125UV no OC. Yesterday at 100UV and worked fine.

He's works his kernel and approach differently. As usual, everybody will picked up Speedmode and Voodoo code. Then he picked up Xan UV/OC code and implemented with Trasig style and he is EXT2 hardcore since day one ahahaaha.

i just try the latest Android Windows 7 home screen..
its nice.. got My Computer to view internal SD & external SD.. also got control panel where it is a short cut for every setting..

the start button work perfect.. its not like Windows mobile.. its just like a PC Windows 7.. smile.gif

smooth than SPB Shell.. but in term of 3D and cool look.. of coz SPB shell win.. smile.gif

I tried it just now. But straight away uninstall after it covers fullscreen including notification bar sad.gif GUI is pretty nice tho. Back to Go Launcher Ex

yeah his kernel is quite interesting but lacks speedmod's sharpness fix. damian did implement but it is just a mild one

my phone froze for its first time after reflashing rom =.= luckily no corrupted files in lost.dir wink.gif

Yeah, I will try the EXT2 partition. Hopefully I won't get kernel panic notworthy.gif later.

Ok, thanks Fornax bro.

I found that battery drains pretty fast on Simply 2.4, then i check battery history, Gallery is more than Android in the usage. I try to replace it with Ok one, but battery still drain....sigh.. blush.gif cry.gif cry.gif

Anyone facing battery drain issue in Simply Galaxy 2.4?
