Hmm, flickering ah? I got a hunch it is actually hardware issue. To be sure, flash to everything stock using Odin. Then see if you still have flicker or not.

i read your cmments in the MIUI thread in xda, and it seems that Beta 5 still got much problem right? my hands feel gatal already to flash to that rom, but still i think im gonna wait. haha

btw darky 10.0 beta seems blazing fast. not to forget the GB screen off animation.

grrr, you're making me jealous already! haha, and i do really really need ur help in flashing the rom later. the instructions kinda pening for me ni like to load all the files lah, bla bla. hehe, yeah its JV1 but still he said its not stable and not recommended for everyone yet. i hope we got GB by this april, cant wait to stick to MIUI forever!

I agree with freakfingers12, flash to stock rom and see if the flickering persists. Flickering could be due to kernel or hardware.

After reboot, i can look the gif animation playing again. Who noticed it, when it stop playing? Is it error on Android?

Another issue,

Last weekend, i flashed my SGS to Darky's v9.3 and use the blue 1.1 theme for darky 9.3. Before flashing blue 1.1 theme, i can see the call record button, but after flashed, it gone. Any suggestion, how can i record my call in/call out later?

I think it is the overheat safety switch cuts in and auto shut off your phone. I experience this before last time when I OCed. I needed to wait half hour when it is cooler to restart the phone.

Added on March 21, 2011, 9:21 amDXJPA and DXJPE are both stock firmware. DXJPE is newer. You'll learn.

Press and hold on the area you want to type text. A pop out box will come out, select input method, select swype.

Try take out battery? Cooler means the processor cooler, not the temperature you feel on the phone. Pray hard...

That is why I never OC again after that incident....
