Wait til the official Gingerbread is released then you will know what is fast, during the days official Froyo was released, 30 post in 10mins was normal!! it is still considered slow now.

Btw, something weird happened to my phone, for 3 days didnt charge and checking the status battery still 100%!! LOL!! so i restart the phone and the battery was almost completely drained!! wish a battery can perform like that for real.
*
lol... ur battery's recharging itself tongue.gif hahaha, I beliv all SGS users will flock to this thread when Gingerbread's released. the old Froyo days... if not how will we manage to get 14 threads laugh.gif

Enjoy! The jury is still out regarding the problem zumapuma had. Next time I'll just recommend people to flash cwm first if coming from stock eclair.

Time to update the flowchart smile.gif
*
yeah, it's easy. there's a CWM file in Doc's first page. can just flash that from 2e to get CWM, from then on can flash wadever rom smile.gif

I just flashed SweetHoney 2.5 ROM.

But now in market, my apps list only show 5 apps.
Actually I got almost 100++ apps.

Anyone know why?  icon_question.gif  icon_question.gif
*
go to Settings, Applications, Manage Applications. Clear ur market data and cache. then have a look, see if it helps

gmhafiz, sorry for noob question..

1. Whats the different between choosing GSM only or WCDMA only and GSM/WCDMA(automode)?

2. how do we set the data to EGDE only? is it GSM = EDGE, WCDMA = 'H', and GSM/WCDMA(automode) = EDGE/H ?

3. if i set to GSM only, can i still browse the internet and receive push mail? coz i never set GSM only, my setting is always GSM/WCDMA...
*
since gmhafiz answered ur 2nd and 3rd ques. I'll help u with ur 1st tongue.gif
IMHO, if u set it to GSM/WCDMA (automode), the phone will use H if the signal is strong enuf. if it isn't it'll be in EDGE. Meaning, it'll transfer data using the fastest way possible smile.gif

Everything works fine except it can't detect external SD.. as long your daily usage doesn't use external SD (listening mp3, watch video etc), i think MIUI is stable. Here are my what-is-working list:
- internal SD
- 3G data
- wifi
- ringtone

Try it, and you feel like using iPhone but with widgets. not only its theme/rom but some applications (i.e. gallery, lower dock) work like iphone style.. love it  rclxms.gif
*
I love MIUI laugh.gif but havent get it installed. for internal SD to work, u have to do sth right? forgot what is it doh.gif

Should still be there. Installing a different launcher shouldn't make that widget disappear. Maybe arc launcher isn't compatible with that widget.
Unfortunately I don't have a credit card sad.gif in india, it only cost 50rupees. Twice cheaper than in malaysia.
