Yes i have about 400g in Maybank since May 2010. But Maybank spread is too high so i dont wanna invest there anymore. I think with the current rise in prices, the spread is now more than RM8 per gram which is CRAZY!  shocking.gif

burst or not doesnt matter if u didnt put all ur eggs into 1 basket. long run gold is always treading upwards. nobody knows when it will burst. u wan safer way, buy the physical gold.

only pb? so uob and maybank dont have online for this? sad.gif

QUOTE(kuhfayLover @ Aug 19 2011, 10:09 AM)
no doubt maybank's spread is too high but uob has limited branches around, leceh whenever want to go top up. sad.gif
*
yeah, have to take this into consideration as well. i can easily run to a maybank anytime. just beside my office.
if uob, need to look for it pulak mad.gif

still havent started yet laugh.gif
still mulling over whether to go for maybank or uob.
maybank for the convenience factor, and uob for the low spread factor.
while in the meantime, the price keeps increasing.

gold investment is kinda long investment (to me) so maybe u can opt for UOB since selling price is cheapest among other + spread price lowest as well.. (for me) i dont mind to go UOB branch (even it is less branches around) the 1st time or invest in one go... tongue.gif
not really that mega sales compare to last few weeks when US announce debt crisis  sweat.gif
*
ah.. thanks a lot for the suggestion. yeah, i think it could be a medium-term investment as well. while its cheap now, just go open one now, and let it grow for a year or two laugh.gif

yeah, i think so too. i have a feeling it will go down a bit before it picks back up again. just waiting for the right time to pounce now.

hahaha abang ular, pekara lama jangan di kenang.

btw there are 2 stratergy liao.

1. buy now, and dont care much about abit of dip or correction later, just hold to your gold and im pretty sure it will rise forward nevertheless.

2. wait for correction, buy during that time and hold.

usually for no.2, it wont happen very often..and usually..when u wait wait wait for corection, that time already 2000/oz (compared to 1800 now) and then got correction, which slight dip to 1950oz..u still rugi ma.. haha

depends on preference la abang ular, most importantly, depends on ur pocket =D
*
yeah, i think better buy now, waiting kills mang..
and yes, ada wang, ada gold!
