know your mobo's bios well before you can start OC
if you're familiar with the bios then you can do OC...

there's two choices on how you can start oc, either in the bios or by using the 3rd party software produced by processor company itself or other company in your windows OS...

that's call memory timing for RAM. The numerical is known as CL, tRCD, tRP, tRAS. If you do not understand what's the function for the matter, here a good guide for you to understand:

if you only need to oc the proc then, just do it... the term is easy like i said before if you didn't familiar with the bios you need to learn it first before you can set any of the function, just to make sure that you know what are you doing if not it getting more worse than ever. Keep reading the manual if you're not familiar with the function ..... biggrin.gif

actually the one you state 2.8ghz above for minimum requirement for the games is based on the old proc.. not a new proc.. actually biggrin.gif
