IMHO, advanced overclocking can be divided into at least 2 categories:
1. extreme overclocking which will reduce the lifespan significantly.
2. optimized overclocking which will has a balance of speed, lifespan and power.
If you are considering only option [2] in this guide, the most important thing is cpu Vcore. At best, tweaking and tuning MUST be done only at stock voltage, and BIOS overclocking is always the BEST approach.
