QUOTE(dro @ Aug 12 2008, 08:41 PM) hi guys i have 1 Q all this while i simply play around wit it but i would like to know wen do u actually up the vNB? and generally......what are the safe limits for NB? ip35E user here You try not to...in fact it's the last choice in memory clocking stabillity unless you trying to run out of spec memory strappings (particularly when you're going for insane memory clock speeds on dividers)

QUOTE(a1098113 @ Aug 12 2008, 08:51 PM) wow. its been awhile almostthere.. welcome back hahahaha don't laaa...just that I've shifted towards efficiency in design. Actually don't OC that much anymore after since realizing that kepping proc within stock design parameter's (upto 1333Mhz bus speed) and maximizing bandwidth at a set memory clockspeed yielded more tangible gains for day to day use (i.e faster boot times, smoother HD playback processing, and more)

QUOTE(a1098113 @ Aug 12 2008, 09:20 PM) i agree on that, i am doing the same at the moment, though the itchy hands do take over sometimes.... to push it to the max and get corrupted os in the process lol that was a long time ago for me.....like AthlonXP long time ago when clock speed was the only way to increase performance, but now with less clockspeed hungry proc designs, becoming less of a factor. Maybe just for that bling factor, yeah it never hurts. Sigh still remember when my 9600XT made a nuisance out of 9800 users » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « OK OK OK.....I'm that old of an old fart This post has been edited by almostthere: Aug 12 2008, 10:19 PM
