Not sure bro, but it worked for me once I disable the Network.

Ah, I would recommend it if you have a HDTV. Its audio and visual clarity is a lot sharper compared to DVDs.

Same here, other Blu Rays plays just fine, its just Avatar that I have to disable Network in order to play it.

Original Avatar BluRay will try to download and install some software for you so you can get some great features about the movie... its exclusively when you watch the bluray through PS3 or others bluray player which support online features... but still, you can skip from downloading the software and continue watching the great movie... just my 2cents...
