Whoa V4 already

Good job Grimm, sorry haven't been keeping track of this thread.

Here are my jeans, unfortunately no camera in the house so just taken with my Blackberry 9000. Will get better pics when I'm back in Malaysia.

Yup, they are Fullcounts and washed quite a few times over the last 2 years. I haven't worn them to bits obviously because I am at the hospital most of the time, so I only ever get to wear them once in a while on the weekends unfortunately.

They show up better in real life (of course) and Malaysian sun, so I'll try to get a good pic when I get home. The vertical falls don't really show up here but they look awesome in real life.

To wash or not to wash?

Hi guys. I would like some help on vintage denim. Recently we bought a bundle of used clothes and some of them looks like vintage denim shorts. Since I don't see many M'sians wear this kind of stuff, we intend to sell it online like on Ebay.

However, we don't know whether we should wash them first or just sell it as is. Some have like tape residue, soils, stains etc on it. Which one is preferred by vintage collecters/buyers?

Thanx in advance for all help.

unless it's really Levi's from the mid 50s no one would want it.

Just bought a pair of Warehouse 800 at Take5 while I was on holiday in Hong Kong

Pics of the raw denim found below on Take5's fb link. Pretty awesome pair, fits better than my Fullcount 0105C

Also, managed to snap a few high res pics of my Fullcounts. Will try to post them soon.

basically unsanforized is another way of calling it RAW?

Sanforized denim is also raw. Just that it's treated so it doesn't shrink. It makes sizing easier. As far as I know, Evisu makes raw sanforized denim but they are probably doing so to cater to the more 'mainstream' crowd that wouldn't buy raw that shrinks to fit (sizing is immensely difficult with such jeans)

should i just go without washing like atta here? haha.
having a hard time to wash or not to wash or to just send to the dry cleaners tongue.gif
its been 8 months.

You're pretty much fcuked. I don't know anyone who sizes raw denim as their 'true fit'. Raw denim (mostly unsanforized as the discussion above states) WILL SHRINK - even if you 'dry clean' it.

Cold wash at 30 oC, then wear it out without buttoning at home first. That's your best bet.
