I recently bought the black slim fit from Tarik. Good fit, breaking in them now. First experience with raw denim. Dropped a comment and hopefully I can win myself a pair of cheese denim.

QUOTE(Majinity @ Aug 19 2011, 06:18 AM) Not this one at least. Its purely raw denim. I'm not sure about the Japanese premium ones though. And I just got word that the RM 160 ones are unsanforised, and the Japanese premium ones are sanforized. A little correction there. So this means I have to soak it right guys? |

QUOTE(g3n0c|d3 @ Aug 28 2011, 05:50 AM) ouh man! that some sick denim u got there.... been reading them at sufu. cant wait to see the pics after u fully break in the denim.... How's the material for the Tarik Jeans pair though compared to other pair of denim you've seen so far?on other unrelated news... went with my brother to Relm shop (located next to Time Square) and he bought the slim fit tarik jeans. i gotta handed to them, the jeans is really nice. the stitching is tidy and it fits perfectly for my brother... sadly they didnt have my size and the skinny fit is just too errr... skinny for me... (my thigh are too big and it looked really funny when i tried it) |

QUOTE(g3n0c|d3 @ Sep 7 2011, 02:07 PM) I would say its better than uniqlo denim. The stitching is very tidy, but tue fit a bit confusing. Supposedly the tarik jeans slim fit black a slim fit size but when my brother tried it looks skinny fit. And the skinny fit, well if i have big thigh like me, avoid it! Looks like im wearing tights! Cool. I've been out of KL for a bit. Interested to compare the two when I'm back. It"ll be interesting to see what they"ll come up next, denim wise. |

QUOTE(g3n0c|d3 @ Sep 10 2011, 12:18 AM) i see the tarik guys are more to varsity jackets, t shirts, accessories.... i only hope they can make 16oz/18oz japan selvedge denim.... That's what I worry. They can easily get distracted & forget that they originally started as a denim company. After the launch of the jeans, the outflow of everything else came quick. Hopefully, they"ll surprise us. |

QUOTE(LAYANGLAYANG @ Sep 10 2011, 10:34 AM) Will be coming down to KL end of the month, will check and might buy a pair Tarik jeans, if I can find the shop. Its not inside Times Square. Realm store which carries the jeans is at the row of shops that looks like houses at the far right corner after Times Square. |
