QUOTE(Loej @ Aug 24 2011, 09:57 AM) How much will my raw denim shrink after first wash (6 months)? warm water - it will shrink your denim. if ur denim is sanforized than its going to be minimal shrinkage. but if its unsanforized denim, the shrinkage will be quite significant Is it advisable to use warm water and dryer after that? or just go with lukewarm and drip dry? QUOTE(Loej @ Aug 24 2011, 08:23 PM) should i just go without washing like atta here? haha. sure... can go for dry clean if u want... 8 months is consider normal for not washing ur jeans... depending on how u wear it.... head down to superfuture website.... they can trash a good denim in less 5 months.... hahahahahaving a hard time to wash or not to wash or to just send to the dry cleaners its been 8 months. QUOTE(irmond @ Aug 24 2011, 09:41 PM) Sanforized - It is a method of stretching, shrinking and fixing the woven cloth in both length and width, before cutting and producing to reduce the shrinkage which would otherwise occur after washing.QUOTE(attacusatlas @ Aug 24 2011, 11:34 PM) QUOTE(kotmj @ Aug 25 2011, 12:27 AM) Thank you so much atta for your generosity. I look forward to the hours of pleasure your nudies will provide me. In exchange, it is only fitting that I give you my uniqlo. I have only ever worn it commando style. Let me wear it for a while longer before i give it to you. QUOTE(Inside @ Aug 25 2011, 08:07 AM) ok.... im lost here.... |

QUOTE(mofonyx @ Aug 27 2011, 01:12 AM) Just bought a pair of Warehouse 800 at Take5 while I was on holiday in Hong Kong ouh man! that some sick denim u got there.... been reading them at sufu. cant wait to see the pics after u fully break in the denim....Pics of the raw denim found below on Take5's fb link. Pretty awesome pair, fits better than my Fullcount 0105C http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1...22189114&type=1 Also, managed to snap a few high res pics of my Fullcounts. Will try to post them soon. on other unrelated news... went with my brother to Relm shop (located next to Time Square) and he bought the slim fit tarik jeans. i gotta handed to them, the jeans is really nice. the stitching is tidy and it fits perfectly for my brother... sadly they didnt have my size and the skinny fit is just too errr... skinny for me... (my thigh are too big and it looked really funny when i tried it) |

QUOTE(Inside @ Sep 7 2011, 10:15 AM) How's the material for the Tarik Jeans pair though compared to other pair of denim you've seen so far? I would say its better than uniqlo denim. The stitching is very tidy, but tue fit a bit confusing. Supposedly the tarik jeans slim fit black a slim fit size but when my brother tried it looks skinny fit. And the skinny fit, well if i have big thigh like me, avoid it! Looks like im wearing tights! |

It"ll be interesting to see what they"ll come up next, denim wise. i see the tarik guys are more to varsity jackets, t shirts, accessories.... i only hope they can make 16oz/18oz japan selvedge denim.... |

QUOTE(h11g @ Sep 18 2011, 12:32 PM) yeap.. for that kindda price i rather go and buy from cultizm and its still cheaper (and u'll be having both vintage and selvedge too) plus shipping...but then again... some people wont mind paying as much as long as they can get a nice fit as for ordering online... u have to guess ur size... |

QUOTE(h11g @ Sep 18 2011, 01:35 PM) does the custom tax for bringing in a pair of denim online? levis vintage = reproduction from the past levi's denim... usually with the big E on the tag (LEVI'S not Levi's). and mostly the levi's vintage is made from selvedge denim. Added on September 18, 2011, 1:36 pmbtw what are the differences between vintage and non-vintage denim? QUOTE 29“ wide old vintage shuttle looms, with whom Levi Strauss & Co have been working for 100 years. i've taken that from cultrizm website. as for the tax.... well i cant say anything about tax since i never got taxed before (the good thing about posting at my company's address lol.) thou ive encountered some of the forumers here said being taxed but im not sure how much.... btw another thing u need to know is cultrizm is from europe means they will deduct their good about 19% (refer here). and so far ive calculated that i never paid the retail price eventhou plus shipping. neat huh? the delivery? last time i ordered on Wednesday evening and i got my package on friday evening (DHL delivery that is....) |
