Hi

I'm new to raw jeans and need some advise. Btw i think i own one of them last 3-4 years. It's an Evisu No. 1, but i burn it away coz i dunno how raw jeans works and i wash it (yes, in the washing machine) straight away over and over again. Coz the dyed keep on messing up with my shoe/shirt etc.

Now i'm interested to buy another pair of raw, just bought Evisu Heritage, coz got some deal online for bigger size. (Yeah i'm a big size dude, currently wearing W42-44/L34). I usually bought straight cut, boot cut jeans from True Religion/R&R/Ed Hardy etc. Thinking wanna change my style to raw jeans.

I'm looking to get 1 more either Samurai 21oz S510XX or Iron Heart 21oz IH-634S or PRPS 01BB. I don't want a skinny leg hugging jeans, are both jeans that i'm aiming suite me? Any sifu have some advice? Or i should stick with the wash jeans? ;-)..

Welcome big guy, so you're thinking of getting into heavyweight , thats a good change. thumbup.gif The IH634s & Samurai 21oz s510xx is a good choice , you might need to downsize one from TTS or if you prefer relax fit you can go for TTS.

Thanks on your advice bro layang2x..

I just found out the Samurai 21oz is damn expensive ($5xx), how about their 19oz? Is it anywhere good like their 21oz? Just on my budget like the iron heart 21oz pricing ($3xx).

By the way anyone have experience with custom made jeans from viapiana? They also carried heavyweight selvedge, i need some input from expert. The owner quote me RM 500 for any size and any material. The heaviest they have is 16oz.

Finally decided which fit I would go for: the Skinny Straight Momotaro X Japan Blue. Initially planned for the new Tapered Fit but Jay told me it's similar to N&F's WG cut and coincidentally I have tried the model before and obviously the fit isn't to my liking:

So I went ahead with the 0100SP. It's also nice that they (Blue Owl) offer free hemming service laugh.gif, one problem solved on finding reliable hemming services!

That was the N&F x Momotaro I had last time. Size was 29 but actual waist measurement was around 31" me thinks, that's why it's loose. My waist is around 30-31.

It is definitely too loose. the 0100 will be tighter and skinnier especially the top block

Aside from all the love for raw denims here, does anyone actually has any interest with raw denim jackets instead? A bit of shameless plug here but I'm trying to move these around so if anyone's interested give me a holla smile.gif
