I have LVC 505s and a regular washed Levis 511. I've tried on 501s, but its not my thing.

Btw, Imperials MIJ now available in all SelfEdge stores. According to kiya, now they are no longer made in Australia, but made in Japan. Also, shorter inseam, and are chainstitched.

Yea... these are the last batches. Mine's due for its quarterly wash soon.

Hmm.. there are actually 2 stores left in Melb which stocks them. I found out one of them might not be interested in taking anymore new batches, but I'm sure that Some Buddy Loves You on Smith Street still stocks them (last time I was there was last year).

Added on February 26, 2012, 10:08 pmErmm... some stores in Australia that are clearing out their stock on Imperials will sell them at AUD150~200. So far, I've seen 3 stores do them at AUD150. Its so weird that they are no longer interested in stocking them.

Perhaps inventory turnover is too slow or they need shelf space for faster turnover brands? I haven't managed to speak to any store owners.. always a young salesperson manning the store.

Nice fit on the Dukes It really has a high back rise and even though it looks roomy, the Dukes is rather impossible to sag. I tried to sag it but its ... unsaggable... to me

Was at the Penang Festival - Fiesta Malaysia 2012 @ Argyle Square, Lygon St. in Melbourne today.

Was amazed at the number of Imperial Dukes I saw. I saw a grand total of TWO dukes in a day. I've only sighted Imperials once in the past 2 years, today I get to see two - one guy had a real good fit.

Hey... I've got to say, this emam guy's workmanship sounds good, for the prices he charges. Any chance that anyone knows this guy personally or is somewhat related to him here? And anyone personally did any alterations to their jeans with him?

I'm looking for somewhere that can do neat selvedge hemming, cheap.

and someone who was asing about APCs in Melbourne, try INCU. But expensive giler there. If you got the dough though, just splash it there. They have crazy good customer service, if you know how to engage them. If you don't like it, they allow returns I think. Refunded in full too.

But if you act like a typical malaysian/china man, never talk to them, know how to show off your money only, they won't give a shit about you. Lol.
