hi, i just bought a new xbox 360 slim 4gb japanese set. the power supply conector is kinda wierd. do i need special adapter for this? afaik japanese uses power similar to us which means for it to operate here in malaysia, i need special power converter. the sales rep doesnt tell me anything. please help. thanks.

Did you buy ur xbox 360 japanese set thru a local shop here? Or u/someone go to japan buy it than bring back? If first most probably ur xbox is alraedy being modified and can play straight away. If second then you need a step down transformer (can get from jln pasar) or you change the AC adapter to asian version (240v). Is it best u bring ur console to a game shop and ask them, they shd able to confirm

u dont need any stepdown transformer, japan unit is same as here, you just need to change the power plug or get a multiplug that works here

TS u must use the step down transformer.. to confirm it take a pic for the power brick specs..
