The event would be like this..past 12 weeks my xbox suddenly had 3rod..ive repaired then after 4 weeks occured again..ive repaired again now after 4 weeks 2 rod happened...please someone help me..please explain someone..

that around rm100 fix is not going to help u much. u need to go for rebailing technique which around rm400. must go for trustable person such techtwo. dont waste your money. next time go for original.

just now, there was a blackout(electricity off) for about 30 seconds while i was playing dead space 2. then when i turn on my 360,
3 red ring flash up!!!!!!!

then i let it cool off about 5 minutes, and turn it on again...sadly still the 3rod there. then i unplugged the video cable, turn it on
to get the 4 red ring hopefully it will somehow reset the 3rod. turn it off, plugged the video cable, on and thank god the
green led lights up.

does this mean my xbox already near it end of lifespan?....i bought this xbox on sept 2007...it almost 4 years old now.

rebailing technique is not an 100% solution, its expansive because they also replace your GPU. i have friend that did that after 2-3 months it came back, so whatever promised refund/free rebailing didnt happen kinda felt got scamed or something.

since you have already paid this much for rrod repair, if you gonna go for rebailing ill suggest you getting another arcade unit then transfer your HDD over its cheaper that way, so you could also trade in your unit for some $.

impressive, how you managed to do that? add extra cooling fan?

Added on March 17, 2011, 7:44 pmtoday my xbox 3rrod again. i open the case, clean the old thermal paste,replace with new thermal paste and
after struggling putting it all back together again(the xclamp really difficult tu put in place) i turn it on.

still 3rrod, turn off the fan for about 5 minutes until got 2 rrod. reboot it and it went back normal with green light.
after playing around i turn it off and on only to be greet by the 3RROD!!!!

then i try to do the 2RROD trick again, but this time it won't overheat! the heatsink is COLD even after 10 minutes of
flashing the 3RROD. its like even the console is on, the cpu and gpu is not.

anyone experienced something like this? is there any hope left for this console to revive again?
