yea the previous jan-feb brochure is rm3599 which was before the intel chipset problem thing. now after a month, the SRP is definitely rm3499

dont forget the most important aspect about buying a sager, warranty.

actually are u gonna use it for other intensive stuff besides gaming? cause gaming wont utilize 8gb of ram. even 4gb is sufficient. im gonna get the Asus though due to hassle of ordering, warranty and weight. but if ur willing to import ur laptop then by all means go for sager.

Heard from the supplier that its most probably not gonna be this week but next week due to delay. So yea dont keep your hopes up this week.

Still dont depend on laptop speakers if u want quality sound for enjoyment. Get a set of good headphones or speakers. You wont regret it cause it can give u much better experience.

The JBL might have more bass due to the subwoofer but perhaps B&O has better clarity...need to compare them side by side.

Finally i got myself an i7. I can now multitask and do my assignments faster and not worry about lagging. =D

The speakers are better than what u find in normal ones no doubt but it isnt mind blowing as well. I never expected much from laptop speakers anyway but maybe its my higher expectation for audio devices. It performs well depending on songs. It dosent do well on heavy fast paced songs but its ok with slow songs with less backgrounds. Bass isnt quite there though and often sounds grainy with distortion. I'd still use headphones though.

How do guys find the dvd-rom? Isnt it kinda loud and vibrating alot or something?

Sooner or later ur gonna want to burn or read a cd or dvd ya know...and ur fine if it dosent work well?

If u have 2x the budget of N53sn then go for G series. You have the money then go for it simple as that =)

Are u talking about the old G53 for rm4500? are u getting it as 2nd hand?

Even if u wait for the new Gseries with SB its gonna be at least 6k and from what i hear they dont sell it in malaysia? N53SN is good enough. I also use it for autocad.

Honestly the G series is on another level compared to N series. It should be compared to things like Alienware and Sager. So state whats ur budget first. If u say 6-8k and u wanna game in high settings then u can talk about G series. If not then no need la..
