I doubt anyone will have it yet since it never really did reach here in the 1st place...
Anyway, here's a relevant review which you may find useful: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-Asus-N...ok.43709.0.html

Do you think i should really get it?  hmm.gif
*
Usage? Budget?
The only thing holding me back from getting the N53 is the size haha... too big and heavy laugh.gif
And because of the relatively larger size, the keyboard on the N53 is weaker than that of the N43

*
Yeap, Asus N53SN hasn't arrive yet nod.gif
And yes, all those laptops equipped with Sandy Bridge which was sold (Acer, HP, Lenovo etc) before the chipset issue was discovered are affected...
The new batches of Asus SB laptops will be free from those defects though, just be on a look out for the Certified Sticker http://www.asus.com/News.aspx?N_ID=Bdmf9rXuqU29SRsi

But in the Malaysia Asus list N53SN in the product list  blink.gif
http://my.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=x8kw5iLRkgwTkczK

P.S. what is actually the meaning of Sandy Bridge?
*
Well, details from the website is not very accurate and not up-to-date, thus unreliable nod.gif
As for Sandy Bridge, do refer to the links already indicated to you, there's even a specific thread made for it nod.gif

This is great news!!! Been waiting for this laptop for like 2 months now. rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif

Yeah, it sure is a long wait... I'm still waiting for N43 cry.gif
Anyway, I think its best not to jump into the ship so fast... at least not yet since we cannot 100% confirm that these N53 were "fixed" one or not... I'm worried will encounter some problems if they don't have those certified stickers. hmm.gif

Iam pretty sure they will have it  tongue.gif

btw..which laptop do u prefer?? the N53SN or the N43?? wink.gif
*
Definitely the N43... I used to own a 15.6 inched Qosmio F60 and it was way too bulky and heavy for my everyday usage... haha...
I'm hoping we'll see some better variants of the N43.... nod.gif

but y570 design n the keyboard was stunning me lol...
JBL speakers vs asus N53Sn speakers..who is better?..
*
The design of the Y570 is almost similar to that of the Z460? hmm.gif Good to see that the keyboard is now widely used in a majority of Lenovo laptops thumbup.gif
According to reviews, JBL speakers in the Dell XPS seemed to be better than B&Os of Asus, probably due to the additional subwoofer..

+1, currently Dell XPS JBL speakers is the best speakers for laptops with Asus B&O in second. Dunno who is third though tongue.gif
heard it first hand the JBL on the XPS...really loud!!
*
I think harman/kardon is in 2nd haha, Bang & Olufsen isn't as good laugh.gif
Well, we can't really compare the audio quality from each brands since different people have different perspectives... Some prefer heavier bass (and will like laptops with subwoofers), whereas some don't...
Having subwoofers doesn't really mean the speakers will produce better audio quality; according to a review on the Creative Gigaworks T20/40 introduced (poisoned) by astria sifu laugh.gif

But the pricing is... sweat.gif

After conversion, it's still cheaper over here for most models.

It seems that they don't have the N53SN but were offered the N43SN instead (which I want laugh.gif )
Their N53SV comes with fullHD o laugh.gif that's why more expensive?

I'm going to Singapore liao laugh.gif laugh.gif

Just curiosity, are all the N series built wit one USB 3.0 port? Cause I saw the specs on N53SV in Malaysia's Product guide it's not stated.
I thought the spec of N53SV sold in Malaysia is i5 2nd gen? Can I request for it since the one in singapore i7 2nd gen...
*
Different countries will have slightly different laptop specs nod.gif
Yes, they all have USB 3.0..

The new K43SV, when will it arrive in Malaysia? Should I just get it from SG IT Show?
*
Unfortunately I think our Malaysian version of A43 and N43 will arrive at around April doh.gif
Need to wait until then, if the specs over here is not good, might as well buy from Singapore laugh.gif

now i am confused whether to get the n43 from s'pore or Indonesia(not released yet) or the n53sn from m'sia ....

but i agree the GPU is a bit let down.
*
Well, we're going to have to wait for Malaysia's N43 now, only then we decide...
I hope it comes with 500GB 7,200rpm instead of the usual 640GB 5,400 rpm HDD
