As the name of the topic says, will is pose a problem if the guy's blood type is AB- and the girl's blood type is AB+ to have baby?

Doing google search on this topic is quite difficult, and I somehow stumbled upon two sites that says two different thing somehow.
One says that it will be alright and another says that the woman will have miscarriage.

Anyone knows a solid answer to this?

i did some more googling after getting the keyword search tips from meow25 (thank you!) and i found out it will affect woman who's RH are negative and the man's RH are positive AND that the baby inside is RH positive as well.

though the first child won't have any problems as the mother still haven't develop the antibody to ward off the positive RH blood cells from the baby's. it is the 2nd child onwards that will have problems but with today's technology, doctors are able to detect and cure this problems early. i forgot which site i was referring to already >.<

@qarezma, you have one rare blood blood type like me. i wonder if u r a regular blood donor?

@joey, yeah, i know both me n my gf's blood type, mine's AB- and her's AB+.

still, i have a good mind to consult doctors regarding this issue as some forumers have advised

from what i understand so far, if the girl is -, best for the guy to be - also.

swt, not yet kahwin lah was discussing about our blood type and suddenly this issue arise, so i came here n ask for answers and i found it!

aww...i couldn't donate blood too due to some personal reason

haha...not so soon lah, won't be dragon or snake or horse or sheep or monkey...dat's for sure...

erm...i really don't know although i'm a chinese XD
i don't view these horoscope or zodiacs of anything significance...that's my view
