it seems PC Expo vs PC Fair street fight ...

i thought pc expo just a event happen and gone..but then it seems the organiser try to play a major role in IT fair to continue it, so no more dominated by PC Fair...

i think this is good both for IT merchant and buyers.... imagine if domination pikom free to raise rental every year then stuffs selling more expensive...

if i was pikom, i would not just offer 1 mazda 2, ppl would think 1 car only so difficulat lah... i would rather offer 3 perodua/proton cars... ppl mindset will be thinking 'oh, more chances, maybe today my lucky day... try spend >rm100 per receipt...." haha...

what do you think?

they should hv done survey long time that majority visitors are men, so girl is the choice.

but for beauty stuffs event, still girl promoter are the choice, what can say is ladies working opportunities in promotion fair is quite a lot compare to guys ... guys do those heavy work... sad...

I see this pcfair is having a most intense broadband fight nv happen ever before because the yes and u-mobile join in finally.

so got 6 contenders: maxis, digi, celcom, tm + yes + u-mobile. Imagine that situation, can i walk out the hall w/o subscribing a plan, do they let me go out .... haha

if TIME fiber optic ready to roll out mass area, then we would see 7 contenders.... but now 6 bb booths mean all players join this party this time, let wait and see what 'surprising' package available in this pcfair... if got sure terminate existing one ...

heard sony camera price up already due to the japan earthquake.... sony factory suspend production...

UPS: APC is reliable.
AVR: PK Electronics is good.

external HDD: after getting back home , remember to scan thoroughly for bad sectors first. i'm in trouble now last pcfair bought buffalo, thinking buffalo more reliable than seagate hdd which got a lot complaints these days, copied data in buffalo, now some file cannot read because file system error or even bad sector.. losssing many important files...

even spinrite program halted to complete the process.... going to use chkdsk to scan for bad sectors . btw, what the policy of no. of bad sectors that entitle for warranty claim?

i think all 50 has been taken by 'insider' who also work in the fair before you run reaching the booth, sure see a queue there already. Unless the hwm turn away those queue up workers and only accept true visitors, then you got chance.

the far end corner at hall 1 ... 500gb usb 3.0 shock proof RM199 same as lowyat, a demo unit available, can see the internal mechanism where normally no chance to view at lowyat shop, and it use fujitsu hard disk. and buying there get a chance for pcfair lucky draw loh

samsung N570 sell for 999, so is this really acer free ext dvd writer or in fact just buying together, not free...
